An update from the last pair:
Michealmann and myself look to start playing tomorrow night. We will play the "Veil" map, which neither of us have played. Blind duel, will be lots of fun i think. If we can get the Strikeout generator going, it will be strikes. If we can manage 3 games before deadline (whatever that will be) we go for best of 3. Else first game counts.

pitlord stronghold magic 1-0 darkflint sanctuary magic on feuding duchies. i rushed his town in w2 where he had half of his troops left, so it was quite easy to take his town and than to kill his hero. all in all it was a pretty onesided match.

well i thought of that, i tested it already some weeks ago, but the quality is too bad i think. if someone can say me how to make/upload videos in better quality i might be able to do this

New experience - Time limit is extremely bugged in our game. We have 5 mins limit. And we get a random limit every turn. Last one i had 2.01 mins, then 1.59, then 3.56 etc. First few turns i didnt understand a thing, my stress level went in the roof.
Anybody else experienced this? Day 1 my hero didnt get time to move an inch Not that it mattered since its so hard on this map.
Anyway, to the map, settings, etc.
Veil of Darkness. I am Orcish mage, Michael is infernal warrior. Things are tough, to say the least, Day 6 now and i have gotten sawmill and ore pit. Thats about it, add a few minor treasures. Half income week one didnt help. Map looks good.
Wow, 2 mins and 50 this turn!

sorry fraudatio, i made in 1. post a mistake, actually we play 4mins and fixed turns (not the dynamic ones)
maybe u both can agree on a rmk... at least u both will be now prepared for the map

In dynamic it counts how much time you had remaining from the previous turn I believe. So if you could have spent more time in previous turn, you get that amount extra time for the next one. Not that it could not be bugged..

Lol, ok. Can anyone explain in detail how it is supposed to work? Micheal set 5 mins i am sure. So if i have zero second left of my turn when i end, how long will my next be? And if i have 1 min left, how long?

BTW - Impression after some 3 weeks on Veil of Darkness: This is by far the best, and most "TOH-like" map so far. I have only seen my area though, but much, much better than other ones. As long as one ban sanctuary heroes that is..
Both me and Micheal are on the verge of or breaking out at the moment.
