Don't be sad. Its just an artwork. Nothing is official yet, and maybe they will make them in a better way then the ones in Heroes V ;-)

ha! yes, i know its just IMHO
but, i personally dislike "made up units"
i much more prefer mythological creatures
and for this one, looks like abiliy-wise
plain harpy clone, with a warhammer-like design (in HoMM5)
and i d preefer to see less Dark Elves in H6 Dungeon
i mean even lorewise its logical
since Dark Elves are not many in numbers yet
and just recently made a pact with the Faceless
so which means its enough to have only 2 dark elves in line up
the rest could be given to sort of darkness aligned creatures
also i hope that storyline will improve greatly
as when i think about good story in campaign
HoMM4 comes into mind and maybe Sandro from HoMM3..

Thanks for the examples, Shard. I can't actually refute them since I've only picked up bits and pieces of the lore
and never touched the Heroes Chronicles.

This also came to my mind. I mean additional DW are not oh so important but there are some things that are meant to stay in the game. Buildings like the menagerie for instance. Those will probably be available in the expansion, so it seem like another ,,additional content'' for which players paid will be available for everyone (of course expansion also has it's cost, but you know what I mean).

If dragons are ever reintroduced as a unit, it will probably be as some sort of single unit boss creature that you can utilize, similar to a Phoenix.
That's how I'd do it if I ran the show. You build a special high-end building that allows you to call a dragon companion into combat once per battle; dragon stats determined based on the hero.

Eh.. That might make more sense with necropolis summoning a ghost dragon but dungeon.. Don't like the idea of an xp-inflating dragon as if he was a phoenix summon.

Yeah but it wouldn't be a "spell" per say. The dragon is your companion. You'd be like "Get 'em Sparky!" and your dragon would show up. And then if it dies you'd need to res it at the Tavern for a cost.

I Perosnally belive in 2 dark elf units, both of them Female. Ubi has this "Atleast 2 females in a faction" tradition now.
(ex)
Hevan (Sister, Glory, Seraphin)
Stronghold (Harpy, Centaur)
Necropolis (Ghost, Fate spinner) (We are lucky we did not get a Female vampire)
Sanctuary (Coral priestess, Spring spirit, Snow maiden)
Ineferno (Succubus, *Breeder)
I do not think Manticoras or lurkers even could be female....
I think nobady wants to see a female minotaur.
The faceless look more or less genderless
And the last unit (A dragon or hydra) do not have visible gender aswell.
ONE thing that just came up my mind.. What if Ubi just teases us and the faceless will be a neutral. Two different form like the wolves have?

That won't happen. Look at the lower right corner of the image from before:
It has the Dungeon Faction's symbol on it. It will definitely be in the Dungeon lineup.

Now that has a magical ring in my ears. Female Minotaurs ... what a funky idea. I mean, lacquered hooves, piercings everywhere, a more elegant club with coloured spikes in Dior-style, a trophy-belt with cut-off penisses and a stylish hairdo.

The dragon (if dragon) may very well be female.
Just don't...give it breasts or anything.

By the way, Lamasus are female as well. 
Seriously, though, Dragons depend, right? The Blacks would be female (Malassa), Dwarven ones would be male (Arkath), and so on.

Not necessarily. *Points to the Minotaurs* They don't seem to have reproduction issues either, although female ones are unheard of.
