I liked that one too. Combine that one with the redesign and I might be perfectly pleased.

I liked the blueish fan-made version.
It would be cool if we could have some fog in there. You know.. darkelves are all about trance, rituals, narcotics..
at least some kind of magic mist, anyone remember the mana vortex from H3? :]

The problem with that screen is simply that you SEE THE LIGHT SOURCES! You basically have to do the screen, then put light sources BEHIND obstacles. THEN you can work with what you get to produce something.

Maybe it has something to do with what type of monitor we're viewing it from,
but to me it looks like someone put a big lens flare in the middle of the screen,
and my eyes are automatically drawn to what is bascially nothing of interest.

Some more speculations for dungeon:
Racial ability:
When you cast the racial on a unit, the unit becomes faded (shadowy) and then all damage from attacks/retaliations/spells of enemy units/hero are very low at like 10% of normal damage. The racial could last for 2 turns.
Racial Gauge:
Maybe the gaage increases by focusing attacks on one enemy unit at a time (opposite of Sanctuary).

I think we all forgot about Assassin's Creed Blade description and abilities. There are some clues:

- Deadly Poison
Targets of the hero's attacks are tainted with poison. Poisoned target becomes immune to healing effects and receives 16 damage (Earth) per turn. Lasts for 2 turns.
- Shadowstrike
Creature is incorporeal for 2 turns and can move through stacks, walls, and obstacles. Also reduces damage (Might) received by 30%. Ghosts and Spectres are not affected.
- Improved Shadowstrike
The first attack of the creature benefitting from Shadowstrike also inflicts poison on its target. Deals 16 damage (Earth) per turn. Lasts for 2 turns.

I'm sorry, but I highly doubt that Dungeons racial will coincide with the abilities of a Dynasty Weapon.

I'm not talking about racial but on units/heroes general abilities. Ubisoft just loves to put heroes skills as dynasty weapons specials and vice-versa.
