1440 is nowhere close to 1500, you should know that by now  I've been to 1450 a few times already, max 1459.

I once faced a guy with 1498 rating (i was at around 1250 at the time).
Once he realized i would win he started crying about how he will need 20 games to offset this loss.
Felt bad for him so I congratulated him on 1500 rating and surrendered once i got him down to 1 hp

You know, that's great sportmanship, but never do something like that on a tournament, in Korea you'd end in court

Oh believe me, I know! I have never actually tried for the push to 1500 either.
I ran into a guy trying the all HoV deck and after getting him down to one gave him the win as well. But only because he did not ask for it.

Got Takana recently, here's the deck I cooked up. Works much better with Yukiko and Spring Spirits though.

Looks solid, I wonder why don't you include Broken Bridges when you are playing with SotS? And I don't know about lack of Outmanoeuvre, it is the best Sanctuary ability, and when I lose to them, it is only, and ONLY because of it. Do you have only one Naga Tide Master, or is there other reason for putting just one?

Rough testing draft, that's why. Since then, I reduced Yukis to 2, Tide Masters are now 3. Broken Bridges are absent because I got bored of them. Also, this way, the maxout's lower, because HL is also absent. What the heck, I'll update the whole thing. Voilá
Seems pretty solid so far.

i believe the intimidation came from the unseen power behind how i wrote "yup" many a foe have fallen prey to this tactic - i commend his dignity and knowing of his place within the redemperor realm.

Ok yeah, that is better, especially the 2x Monsoon is nice touch and very much needed against any kind of control.
Edit: I was at ~1320 ELO with Garant, then won like 4-5 games against ~1050 ELO opponents, getting +2 - +5 ELO rating, then lost to ~970 ELO Garant and lost ~30 ELO. YEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHH!
Never mind that I won against ~1500 ELO Adar-Malik, just lose to one guy that is a lot lower than your ELO and you can say goodbye to your points.
ELO matchmaking system in this game is retarded.

That's why to get to 1500 elo is so difficult....
I always think that the first people that played back in Oct 2012 non stop got to 1500 easier than it is now with the ever growing pool of good players....

Of course, it is logical, but you shouldn't be getting people that are ~400 ELO below or above you... +/- 200 is ok, I guess, but 400 is ridiculous. That is why we see those spikes in rating.
When I was low ELO, I was matched against SILVERMEDUSA(I guess you know who that is), and against some other player on ladder. Both were at 1501 rating when I was on 800-1000.

well ive just cracked into 1400 after some serious grinding +2 to +5 elo gain... after breaking through 1400 2 losses - 25 - 25 back to 1350.... ho hum
