Oh I've got it just in case, I'm actually working on an epic custom at this moment..slow progress, but a few hours a day and I'm sure it'll probably be done in about 2 months. I also intend to use it for other epic maps once I have my game running alright

Not if that someone uses the Master of Craft mod and waits for the best days to craft. In XL and XXL maps I now pass the 99 each almost every time.
So thank u for these mod and thanks again for the customizable Better AI, now map difficulty is much more customizable.

Would be nice if an up-to-date plugin of that were available so I could upgrade troop ranks on the fly. Unfortunately, the link you provided to certain parts in the above post is dead.
The most I've gotten is these scripts off this link, but I don't know how to use them, or if they're correct:

Yes, links die over years. I don't think someone will rework on those old scripts, but there are many new available mods in this thread.
The main post is screwed due to box.com stupid actions but if you search over the last pages, you should be able to get proper links for everything.

I don't think any of the above do what I'm looking for. Have you tried the "Training Facility" mod, which lets Schools of War rank up your troop experience for gold? The one I'm looking for is one that does the same, but you can do it anywhere (some maps don't have a School of War).

Lazy damsels...if the mod is activated by visiting an object -aka school of war-, change the trigger in code. Tie it to F1 key for example. How to do? Open the mods doing such, then copy/paste the code in your mod.
Even easier, create your own button. Buttons lists are already done in 100 mods, have only to paste from here, there.
Nobody will sit down and work on such tedious things just because you ask. Put your brain at work, it is doable within one hour of work and you will feel immensely rewarded and proud by your sudden programming skill.

Nobody is born with the coding spoon in the mouth. Players want to customize the game (as you do), then they learn how to do. And especially what you ask is really easy to.

I guess I could give it a shot. But to ask, how does one go about making custom buttons? Any tutorials you might point out?
EDIT: Figured out a work-around. Got the Campaign Editor (this is all it's really for), extracted the maps, edited them to have no level limit, and boom! No more EXP caps causing troops to mess up their ranks.
Now I just need to make sure the enemy has more stuff to throw at me each mission to improve the difficulty. Better AI can only do so much...

Several mods were updated both with content and, most noticeable, with a ini file. The ini file now allows the player to specify his own values and will keep them for each game.
Adventure map reminder
Several small interface changes, credits go to Bes too.
Conquistador
ini file, neutral growth much improved.
Adventure Pillars
ini file, Heroes from prisons are now correctly reset, the custom pillars search got a new outfit, more practical.
Invite Tavern
A fix in the code, now other town screen mods will work correctly with.
Master of Craft
ini file added
Mithril Smelter
Now 100% compatible with latest wog revised mod.
Turbo Wog
new sounds added
New mod: Usain Bolt
has ini file, offers increased mobility for victorious heroes.
I advice to delete old versions using mod manager before installing updated ones.

The Invite Tavern mod, is that for taverns in a town or taverns outside the town? I was assuming it was like the Heroes 3 HD mod for the regular Heroes
EDIT: Nevermind I figured that out, Ctrl+left click. Seems better the the thing on the Heroes 3 HD mod

How to install MODS
I have downloaded some of the mods from 60 mods for era page. but when I try to install I get cannot find modinstall.ex. So what do I need to do to install these mods.

Means you have one of the earliest Era version, without modinstall.
Make sure you get the 2.46 from Era thread then retry.

Master of Craft uploaded at same link. Updated with two choices now: resources or mana.
Instructions: shift + left-click on artifacts to choose craft outcome: resources or mana. The outcome will stay at what you choose until you redo this action. For relics primary skills bonus remain.
