hi long time player of WOG 3.58F here and just downloaded Heroes Launcher and installed WOG ERA so 1st off wish to thank all those who contributed to this project ya My question is : are there scripts to make ERA play exactly like 3.58F? Online does not matter as am a Single Player fan here ^^

#1 orange chests that give either spell scroll or mine.The spell level is tied to the player's level i.e only those of higher level may have a chance of 4th and 5th level spell scrolls. Also another variant that gives expert secondary skill to hero after 7 days?

#2 upgraded level 7 become level 8
personal choice, prefer this to adding more monster types/castles and disabling commanders/commander artifacts Closer to SoD except level 8 can be recruited in towns as well as wild dwellings? AI gets them as well

#3 Random roll Witch Hut, Palace of Dreams, School of Wizardry, etc
Seems now the game engine has fixed stats per roll/day for certain map objects? For example when advanced witch hut option is enabled only certain skills are offered in a day's roll via mithril unlike 3.58F

#4 Secondary Skills
I only started playing so not aware of the no. of changes but it seems Eagle Eye is nerfed? in 3.58F one could work to get Expert Eagle Eye as quickly as possible and only level 4 spells are offered every level up for Expert level of skill in hopes of landing TP or Resurrection

What i luv about ERA
#1 XXL+ maps
Main reason
#2 Interesting mods like
a) Third Upgraded Monsters
b) Advanced Classes
#3 smarter AI - more challenging battles

My suggestions (from early play)
#1 Have an option for more than 8 players? Option "unlocked" when map size exceeds XL?
#2 Alternative simplified "Hero Race Bonus" Instead of master/grandmaster there are 3 secondary skills one must master to expert level as pre-requisite to unlock Hero Race Bonus

Eg : Necropolis Town
Hero Race Specialty : Necromancer
Prereq : Expert Necromancy + Expert Wisdom + Expert Sorcery
Bonus Levels after pre-req fulfilled
Adept Necromancer - lowest rank
Elite Necromancer
Legendary Necromancer - highest rank
Bonuses
#1 Blood Feast of the Vampire
After every battle the entire "blood" i.e hitpoints of the dead are calculated and based on rank and necromancy boosting artifacts/structures some of the dead return as Vampire Lords to the Necromancer! The rest return as skeletons
#2 Death's Touch
Every spell of the Necromancer is converted from elemental to "dark magic" which cannot be resisted. Higher the rank and stats, the deadlier/more pronounced the effects are!
#3 Charon's Fee
After every battle the victorious Necromancer receives gold + mithril
The higher the hitpoints of the battlefield dead and rank of the Necromancer the more gold and mithril!
