I'm actually geting mad right now.
What did these changes fix?
Stronghold lost somme combo potential. But Still the issue of their Fortune cards almost not existing has not been adresed
Necro still has Decay the single most broaken card in the uncommon section. And gues what now thanks to BB they can recycle them even more and more and more.. Damne those devs

@Davejame: RedEmp told me about your defeat to his Spitters/Banshee Bridge combo....
What I am upset about is Gold pile taken out....damn, rush decks just got a little screwed....
@Redemp: Good synopsis on your views.....some are terrible eg. taking ven kappas out (so no fortune ward) and brining BB back in...

so dave and i have tested out some decks, mine being nec recursion - and our results are spitters are OP and bridge just doesnt help at all!!
perhaps dev's will consider the bb, spitters are difficult as they are the only really attacking force of nec - so im not sure the solution?

Yeah, I am Necro player and I also think that Decay Spitters are too strong, the best card in Necro arsenal and is fighting with Hellfire Maniac for first place when we count all of the uncommons(with Archlich being close second), but Necro is almost unplayable without them.

This will be included in BS2 of course, and it helps against Necro quite a bit, since Altar of Asha and Seria's Legion won't be able to get Atropos back. I like this quite a lot, I mean they have finally did it, better late than never.

well not too much of a dent for nec, broken bridge, town portal can still recycle

confession of a sadist...
so i've been crafting my mill asalah for some time now - it will never compete against top decks on a regular basis - but there's just something about this deck that i really like. It has the chance to beat any deck, and does it in the most irritating manner possible - i have been flamed, called everything i think possible, I think Dave almost unfriended me the one day and yet i sit down and chuckle and test craft it every day - some may call this my fix for the day

If there is one reason why I will infriend you red, the reason will be those good damned spiders.
But your Morgan is very interesting, I really like that deck. But I was surprised that It got beaten by the Dhamiria build.
To all
Me and Red have been testing BS2 decks a lot (I rarely do anything else in the game now)
We have several decks. Both from me and from REd
Inferno:
A Dhamiria control, This deck is strong against creaturre decks, but not against combo decks (Most combos in BS2 are based on cards in game)
Sanctuary: For now, the only one we have is ma Yukiko based on my standdard All-around. Works good against Controls, but many decks focused on creatures give a it some hard time.
Stronghold: Only Red has a Zordoc deck. Avarage but can win in most cases
Academy: Is represented by an Asalah immoletion deck. It still needs a lot of testing,
Necropolis:
Red has a Seria fortune deck I nick named Arachnophobia.Creature recycling at its best against all-aroundd decks, but got beaten by my Keiran.
My necro deck is an Ariana based on Namtaru chanelers. Not nearly as good as Reds seria
Haven:
We both made a Haven deck today. Red has a Fortune based Morgan that can create a huge creature advantage,
My deck basedon Keiran, healing and time controle is not as direct and fast, but can make a good stand
The down part of Haven is, is that their decks are really focused around Anael. Which is bad.

Dave & I are trying to see what the overall trend is going to be for decks, i was concerned that the changes to bs2, was going to limit the game play, surprisingly there are still differnet formats you can build towards to be competitive.
ps i love the fact that necro can now be played again!!

I don't know why they want to take out Gold Pile.
Starting first can put one at a disadvantage with bad draws, and gold pile always can help here....otherwise, the card is useless, so why take it out?

Hey Red, could you link your Seria? Creature recursion with Fortunes Seria was probably my favorite deck that isn't playable in BS1, so I would like to see.
I got some ideas, wonder if yours would be the same as mine.

Seems pretty good, but I don't know all of the Sanctuary creatures in BS2 so I don't know if anything needs changing. Maybe you can put in 1-2 Wandering Bards now that they are in BS2, Raya the seductress is definitely gamebreaking and you really need her as soon as possible. You can always discard them with Night of the rising Moon if Raya is already in your hand.

All of the featured cards are bs2 as of the latest revision. On the fence regarding bards, I'm gonna be drawing enough as it is(no special, low maxout thanks to foxes, and NotrM). Itching to try it out in a bs2 environment.
