Another thing that bothers me are these arcana votes. People do love giving arcana for heroes who have already tons of items, right? I'm still hoping Jakiro will get a redesign and a couple of items before 2017.

Yeah that Medusa + drow surprised me but then again Newbee did tend to last ban drow against OG in previous matches, so Kuroky did well picking drow 4th and then tanky Medusa 5th. The Medusa + TB game to counter Naix also surprisingly worked well for Fnatic vs LGD game3.
Just finished watching replays of grand finals the other day, woohoo, I was sure Liquid would win it 3-1 - but ofc, now no chance of OG winning TI6, but it's the Chinese year to win anyway
That infographic is great Stevie, EG/Secret burn about spending last few months poaching players from each other finishing last, classic!
The most damning stat was first phase picking Slardar by Liquid in every game of the grand finals...copying Secret's mistake in Frankfurt against OG!

ESL Frankfurt showcased some interesting DotA2 so far. Wouldn't have thought to see Troll again and it was so nostalgic that I actually felt sad for a moment NaVi actually lost with it, but probably for the best since I value my current pub meta.
Some gem I found about Speed Gaming's run through winning MLG Columbus, fondly remembering those days. One hour long emotional roller coaster, totally worth it.
Congratulations to Navi for making it to the finals, at least. But OG looks unstoppable coming into TI, which of course means that there's no way they're going to win it.

OG are impressive and that last game with miracle support was a treat. It also nice to see a riki as something else than a 5 position support. Riki is supposed to be a carry dammit
Yea it's gonna be hard for OG to win TI, they are arguably the strongest team going in, but every other team with study them so goddamn hard. Still, if they can continue to come up with creative drafts...

Wow this is amazing stuff!
I think that only having six direct invites are great news as this will make the qualifiers much more exciting and later that all the teams in the TI have had to work for it.
It's going to be even more exciting to see how both EG and Secret will fare in the open qualifiers hahahha !

Hello, man.
Yeah I'm enjoying this meta a lot. I try not to play as much as I use to, but as far as watching goes it's great.
The hero pool is huge and the most common heroes are not super boring for the most time. There's tons of fighting and the games have a nice back and forth dynamic.
The few things that bug me though are too many Slarks and too little Troll Warlords.

I saw that game and was almost worried for a second. I will be so sad if my boy Artour doesn't make it to the qualifiers.
Other than that it has been somewhat fun just watching stomps haha
