Fox or Chicken?
posted May 31, 2015 07:14 PM

I am glad to hear there will be more.  If there is anything I can do to help, for whatever reason in the world that would be, let me know.

Oh, before I forget, I did receive my copy of Pathfinder Adventure Card Game Wrath of the Righteous.  For those unfamiliar with the Pathfinder ACGs, they are campaign-based card games set in the Pathfinder universe.  If you are a fan of either Pathfinder or card games, I recommend it.

Something I just noticed while looking at Nathanial's sheet... Nathanial should have one more language known. I need more obscure things to work with than just sphynx!

I want to play this chronologically and see what happens to Feather before I have my turn. My actions might change if she dies or something...

Feather shouldn't die... unless she does something stupid like attacking him or the void hound.

The wikipedia page for Mystra says she has a group of Paladins called the "Knights of the Mystic Fire" but I'm sketchy on what their specific duties are or whether or not there are Paladins of Mystra outside that order, so I'm just claiming Order of Mystra.

I only have one rank, ergo one extra language. Or do you mean you don't have enough languages to play with? If Mystra wants to drop an extra language in Nathanial's head while he sleeps I won't complain.

Well as a human you get Common, 2 languages of your choice that aren't secret languages (like druidic or drow sign) because you have an int of +2, and then because you spent a skill point to learn another language you get another language of your choice. The linguistics details it, basically stating that your bonus to the skill is how many extra languages you know beyond your race's base.

So go ahead ant take two more.

Nathanial has pirates in his backstory, so I could squeeze in Aquan. Maybe Celestial, because Paladin? Or maybe I should grab something more mundane...

Your choice, though for pirates something more mundane like goblin or even elven would also fit. Aquan is more water elementals and mermaids, really.

And draconic is always a good language to choose, just because of how many bloody things speak or understand draconic. (It's almost like they are one of the title creatures for D&D or something... )

Let's make it Elven and Draconic then. The sphinx taught him Draconic because there was a Brass dragon in the area or something.
