Quote: - There're 4 levels of Magic Guild, level 1 spells can be learned by any hero without skills. Spells are random, but at least one of the Faction's prefered school are granted to happen in each level. There's also a specialization system to influence in the chances of getting spells from the Magic School you're interested in.
- On the Academy lineup, Cabirs are spirits of fire, they can repair constructs. Apprentices are Elite, the basic creature has a pierce ranged attack while the upgrade gets an additional Area-of-Effect attack.
- There'll be lineup vote for the sixth faction winner. Succubus and Minotaur are confirmed for Inferno/Dungeon lineups, if they make through.
- We will be able to destroy buildings on the towns (so we can freely choose our faction champion without dreading of finding the other choice on another town). We might get some resources back from destroying buildings.
- Initiative system will be similar to Heroes 6, but with a few tweaks.
- Currently the Skillsystem is non-random, but it's being discussed about implementing randomness.
- Dynamic morale: if you kill an enemy stack, your troops get additional morale while enemy troops morale is reduced.
- Map Editor will be part of the game
- Caravans will take several turns to reach the city, like in H4 or H5.
- No Tear/Blood system, no H6-type Bosses (custom battles instead).
- External Dwellings - no unique buildings for creatures from same tier (as in H6)

8. The mist in the haven town screen is a bug.
9. There will be a lot of different types of battlefields. Some with many obstacles, some with almost no obstacles.
