fair point lol, but you see I'd actually prefer to have the demons back over just the dark elves without any minotaurs

It is 57% vs. 43% right now, I don't see how Inferno even has a chance.

Except that this isn't a choice between one lineup or another, this is between the factions.
If you want to compare it to something, compare it to the first vote we had, Sylvan vs. Fortress, and how it was from the start to the end 66% vs. 34% for Sylvan, or something like that. And I just don't see people who had voted for Dungeon, switch their votes to Inferno.

I really want Efreets in Inferno and Medusa in Dungeon.
What I dislike about dungeon is that we're gonna get black dragons and they have consistently looked very underwhelming in 3D.

Medusae were great in H3 dungeon but in Ashan they are.. destructive coral naga priestesses. A fine way to ruin an iconic creature..

Same here.
H6 Black Dragon is too shiny and its animation catastrophic.
As much as I love Black Dragons, I would like to see Hydras and Minotaurs as champion units in Dungeon's line-up.

Champion choices in Dungeon would probably be Dragon, Hydra, Faceless.
Inferno? Devil, Pit Lord and some new creature like Hellworm maybe?

are they going to give ANY info about Dungeon or Inferno?
because as the things stands now i am definitely voting for dungeon
inferno direction they took in heroes 6 with all tormentors and breeders was just horrible in my opinion

That'd be the Medusa. I think they were refering to the Heroes 3 Gorgon.

For a town who's been through line-up after line-up, the Minotaur has been a constant presence, a measure of the standards of Dungeon. In Heroes 2 as well as Heroes 3 it was the third strongest unit in the town and very powerful for its level in both games. Then Heroes 4 came and degraded the unit to the likes of e.g. Harpies, Pikemen, Elves, Nomads, Cerberus.. all traditionally way inferior units, simultaneously, another example, the Roc unit, which had so far been on the same level as, but weaker than, the Minotuar, was suddenly upgraded to a weaker side of a maxed level unit, creating a gap at more than a level between these two units.

For champ I think I would take Pit Lord and Abyssal Worm for inferno.
Hydra and Black Dragon (or Faceless?) for dungeon.
They look so hungry and cute:
