As do I, perhaps I even want Shield to continue it's growth.
But Chris makes a point, we don't know how much is due to shenanigans, even if that didn't make a dang bit of difference last time.
I'm actually even more interested in how long it's gonna take for them to show the results without shenanigans. I hope we don't have to wait a week for it again.

Nah gotta disagree on that. Even for a spellcaster Solmyr gets more knowledge than power. The only way he stands out is chain lightning, which isn't one of the best spells. He can hardly try to attack and run a couple of times as his top speed unit is 11, the slowest together with Stronghold, and otherwise it's just mass haste and slaughter.
If you want a spellcaster I think Warlocks and Dungeon are better. More power than knowledge, highest chance of Armageddon, Armageddon immune and one of the fastest units at his disposal.. not to mention the best week 2 siege attack in the game in my opinion.

And Faces drops another percent... Now I hope that Blade cheated the most, but the odds of getting Faces and Shield into the second round are getting smaller and smaller.

I was actually going to edit that part  I hear you very well, but Solmyr starts to get serious around lvl20, I mean, Chain-Lightning specialty alongside Expert Sorcery deals severe damage. Now you add Expert Air&Earth Magic to the combo and it's quite devastating..

I agree, but that forces you of watching what you're doing with them, they're no Blackies

They did a better job this time with the voting.
At least we have the illusions that the devs have a vision since they locked some creatures (minotaures hydra blackies) and gave us very few to choose.
At least they understand that a vote is not about gameplay or vision but fancies . And they have left accessories for us to decide and that s better this way.
Now they can redo the sylvan voting accordingly

Ha that's interesting. AcidCave's Sylvan pool results were more similar to HC's one IIRC.

I vote NONE.
What is this? I want:
- Assassin/Shade: melee walker with backstab ability. Damage dealer.
- Shadow Lurker/Shadow Watcher: ranged attack flier with debuff abilities. Saboteur.
- Troglodyte/Chthonian: Earth spirit, immune to blind and with burrowing movement ability. Tank.
Elite creatures
- Minotaur/Minotaur Guard: melee walker with preemptive strike and no retaliation. Damage dealer.
- Medusa/Medusa Sorceress: walker with ranged attack and mesmerizing ability. Saboteur.
- Manticore/Scorpicore: flier with poison debuff. Saboteur.
Champion creatures
Champion creatures
- Shadow Dragon/Black Dragon: flier with area of damage and debuff abilities. Saboteur.
- Cave Hydra/Dark Hydra: walker with no flanks and life drain ability. Tank.
The unicorn and Strider are just pathetic... they are Golems and Unicorns with a purple glow, just like the cheap spring maidens and water elementals.
I want new mytho-creatures, but these new creatures are pathetic!
So I would rather stay with the old line-ups.
I rather seen another creature and not the black dragon though.
