I cannot find the original post and the (possible) solution, but my save game also disappeared. Autosaves deleting custom saves is a serious issue, as it doesn't allow you to play more than one game at the time. Btw, why do we need so many autosaves?

EDIT:
It seems my savegame has reappeared. At least it is in the list when I save a game. Haven't checked if it's also there when I try to load a game.

EDIT 2:
Okay, this is weird. If I save a game my old savegame is in the list, but when I load a game it is not

Hi,

I just found a "nice" bug with the spell: Instant Reinforcements.
When i call this spell i can move creatures from my castle to my hero army and i can double my current army .
You can do this by selecting a creature stack from the castle and drag it into an empty slot in the hero army.
Then move over that stack the same creature type stack that you have in your hero army and the press the RESET button.
You will end up with more available creatures in the castles for you to move .

Am I the only one with this Bug

"Random Skill pick" alowes you to lern skills and abilities that your class should normaly not have access to. The Skill-pizza does not show them, but they work.
Got the Ultimate perk in Dark magic with Lethos
And master level ekonomy with Sorshan
Both should not have acces to these skills/perks

I had a problem with the Rover skill today.

Instead of doubling the temporary Attribute bonuses it was doing some kind of strange math which resulted in enormous (to the point of overflowing) values.

Instead of stables resulting in +10 movement it was providing 80 movement on reload, after some battles I looked at the heros movement and it was in the hundreds of thousands of steps remaining, after screwing around the map a little more it became negative a huge value and my hero could no longer move.

giant slayer : ranged creatures and large melee creatures don't get the bonus; from the description it does not result that only the small melee creatures should receive the bonus

water wisdom (might happen for other wisdom abilities): tooltip in speel book does not seem to be scaled correctly with the +6 magic; battle field tooltip is also not taking into account this bonus; however, upon casting the spell, the final result seems to take into account the magic bonus

ice strike: when a friendly stack with this spell active attacks a creature immune to water (like obsydian gargoyle), the bonus water dmg resulted from the friendly stack's attack is resisted 100%; however, since this is not a direct damage spell but a buff to a creature's attack, the damage should be halved instead of being completely resisted

confusion: when the hero's attack confuses a hostile stack before it acts in a particular turn, once the hostile stack acts, the confusion is lost even if the turn is not yet over

confusion: not sure if it's intended design but when my dungeon hero with confusion attacks a stack guarded by legionnaires, the legionnaires get confused as well

Some bugs I've found.

-Deep Freeze graphical effect is sometimes huge (happens on friendly units)
-attacking a minotaur says no retaliation, but he retaliates
-black market is empty
-resurrection doesn't work for the Heal spell or Healing Tent
-casting Instant Recall, but not being able to teleport (blocked by other hero), makes the hero unable to use adventure spells for the day
-shrouded enemy units can finish their turn inside a creature, which makes them untargetable by everything until they move
-units are sometimes positioned outside the tactical phase area at the start of combat
-similar to above, when entering a combat that happens after a siege, the units that were positioned on the extra fields in tactical phase, won't appear on the battlefield and the creature icons are still greyed out, until a make a change, which then brightens the icons of missing units (basicly normal combat and siege layouts are the same)
-"can build today" (green) icon shows up even when there's nothing to build in town
-Simurgh faces opposite direction after teleporting
-sometimes crashing when entering combat (camera zooms in, loading screen pops up and them it crashes)
-Aura of Purity ignores Casting Stage academy ability
-Casting Stage academy ability is still applied even if the hero is outside the town's area of control
-when a shooter gets a positive morale and your cursor is still hovering over an enemy, the cursor is displayed as an hourglass, until you move the cursor away from the unit, which will update the cursor icon
-can recruit cave hydras from a sylvan champion dwelling
-the icon that opens the spell scroll shop in academy city has "undefined" as a tooltip
-once I couldn't attack an enemy creature right at the start of the combat with Simurghs who could fly over the whole battlefield, it said "cannot target this" (enemy unit was dire wolves in a dungeon hero army)
-Lightning Reflexes doesn't work on ranged creatures (if it's intended, mention it in the tooltip)
-recruit all actually doesn't recruit all, even when having enough funds (have to click it multiple times)
-enemy heroes sometimes run backwards
-Fire and Blood map is unfinishable, because the top left town can't be captured (location blocked by an army, but nothing is there)
-during the AI's turn, the entire map is covered in fog of war, even my own explored area, also I can't see the AI's turn when he's wandering in my explored area (but it worked normally on the Fire and Blood map)
-can walk through my own heroes (not sure if bug or design decision)
-Master Hunters won't get a second turn when having a positive morale (the effect appears, but nothing happens, also happens only if they shot twice)

Metamagic: 1st turn i get 1 point plus another one for casting a spell. 2nd turn i get another point. All of my spells are cast on the master rank instead of expert -.- amd after i cast a damaging spell,the next round the spell's description says "0 - 0 damage" . it does damage the enemy though. Also another bug in the tooltip of metamagic is the expert perk that deals "0 prime damage"

Confusion only works for the turn of your active creature.

I think that this bug isn't tied to metamagic, as it happened to me when I was playing as dungeon.

Time to write down all the bugs I've found. I've played on the map "Fire and Blood" with Masfar (Alchemist, Academy, random skills):
1. Errors in Polish version of the game. Some terms, like "Player 2", "Tier 2" (both in terms of spells and artifacts) and "half"/"full" (speaking of ranged creatures) aren't translated in the game and they should be, of course.
2. Music issues. Sometimes, town's theme didn't play for no apparent reason (like waiting theme); theme of specific land appeared while fighting a battle; town's theme sometimes started again while the first one didn't finish, but was close to doing so; waiting theme played during player's turn.
3. Do you remember wen during Limbic's stream skillwheel started to flicker? Something similar happened to me.
4. Quick access to spells doesn't work at all.
5. During enemy's turn you can't right-click any object on the map.
6. There are some effects that increase your gain of experience and gold from treasure chests. While increased amount of gold is displayed properly, experience stays on the old, unchanged level.
7. There was a Sylvan core dwelling on the map. After some time, it changed its looks to Haven's core dwelling. After some time, it came back to its original looks.
8. At some moment, after finishing my turn, game constantly moved to a place where one of enemy heroes was present. Moreover, I could hear sounds that he made while visiting buildings, collecting resources, etc.
9. While damaging walls during siege, they bare no signs of damage.
10. In one of the battles I didn't place one unit. In order to place it in the next one I had to move other unit first.
11. In Secret/Mysterious Crypt text of debuff isn't shown properly.
12. Stables in Sylvan's town didn't work at all.
13. Heroes walking backwards. <3
14. After conquering an enemy's town colour of its zone of influence didn't change immediately, but after 1 or 2 turns.
15. I went to a fight in Elemental Conflux. Interestingly, after pressing "Fight" button... there was no fight, as there were no units on the battlefield. Anyway, I won the rewards, so that's something.
16. In this map, Garrisons have Apprentices/Disciples. Well, they should at least, as they didn't appear in battle.
17. After exiting and loading the game all the decorations representing town's development on map dissapeared, so a town with a Capitol looked just like a town with a Village Hall.
18. From time to time units change their positioning before battles.
19. After using scrolls I can still cast spells from them. For 0 mana!
20. I have played with Masfar. He's an Alchemist. He somehow got acess to GM in Prime Magic, as it appeared several times in available abilities.
21. Sometimes the game shows route and target of AI heroes.
22. Grid on the battlefield disappears.
23. Heroes can walk through each other.
24. Academy's Tear of Asha building does only grant bonus in Gold income, no mana increase and no boosted creature's growth.
25. In recruitment screen creatures' icons from external dwellings sometimes disappear.

Other issues:
1. While finishing your turn, when your hero still has some movement points to spend, a screen with a question "Are you sure you want to finish your turn?" would be highly desirable.
2. Mass Steer of Time is OP. Mass version of this spell should be unlocked by at least "Master of Prime II" (or "Master of Prime III".) Also, I would reccomend return to mass spells ssimilar to ones from previous Heroes games, where there is a standard spell and its mass version that is two times more expensive in mana.
3. Map dwellings should offer some way to recruit a different hampion than the one chosen by default.
4. In random skill system there needs to be implemented a specific limitation. Each new level of skill should grant access to just one ability. No more, as otherwise random skill system gets terribly messy and hance of getting desired skill is virtually none.
5. Scrolls are to way too expensive and artifacts are way too cheap.
6. Rakshasas need to be bigger!
7. Shooting through walls during sieges should give a range penalty.
8. In marketplace, default exchange should be resource to gold, not resource to wood.
9. Elites should increase in strength and Cores need to become weaker.

That's it. Keep on working, as this game can be good. It still needs polish, however.

I think dark magic grand master is not always working or needs a better tooltip.
I cast a mass dark spell on rakshashas and they were unaffected by shadow of dread. I cast that spell on another stack and a small number did "desert" the battlefield. I battled some rakshashas again ,cast the spell and nothing happened(except the spell effects) -.-
Were they too few to leave? Does shadow of dread affect a 5% or smth?

I think they were too few, how many rakshasas that stack had?
The site says it is rounded down. I guess to 'shadow of dread' take effect the stack needs to have at least 20 units, then you can kick 1 (5%) of these out of the battlefield.

Edit:I wonder if it is supposed to be 5% of current stack number or initial stack number. I guess it's the first case, but if it's the second case, then we could desert units from stacks <20 too.

I think 5% of initial stack would probably be too strong, considering we can aoe. :S not sure

I suspected they were few to begin with. They were two stacks of 16. I used an AoE spell. Unaffected both. Since it s a total 32 shouldn't two of them leave?
Still i didn't test it further since i didn't have much time. Shadow of dread is kinda cool though for those "zounds" of stacks so only 5% huh? I could do with 7%
