well, i was up until 5am last night, and then after waking up earlier than i would've, i took a brief nap, then woke back up.
plus, i have sinus congestion, which is playing hell on my head. lol, i'm doing the best i can at this point.

I'm one of the idiots that bought this crap. It's just that I had so much hope for a good game and cannot believe the franchise is ruined.
In ubisofts defence. I know they can do it, homm 5 was a very amusing game in my opinion with a lot of good implementations

They have the money, all they need is some competent developers.
And getting rid of Erwan would work in their favor too I guess.

wiping the team slate clean would be a good start. bringing in people who worked on the old heroes games would be the next step. from there, they could take their cues from people here at HC. there are enough threads describing what went wrong, and what was right about the old games. easy peasy.
but it's not about quality, with them. it's about creating a product that'll sell. that's all they give a snow about. they don't even care about their customers, they've snowing made that quite clear.
imo, the whole company needs eviscerated(not literally speaking, they could go mine for diamonds in africa with the kids, as penance), from the peons on up to the big cheese. that company is snow, and it needs to be leveled to the ground.

I think you are aware enough such people aren't interested - they just passed on, like JVC, who works on those mobile games. Others probably found their own calling.
Unless you meant modders, but even then, I doubt a publisher/developer company would seek their help.

But that's the logic they have I will never understand. I mean, if you want to sell good, doesn't making a good product increases the chances for that? It's like they would be afraid to make quality, only crap could sell. That's not true, quality is generally well-received and very profitable, much more than broken and unfinished crap lol
The hardest part is the name, but they already have that, they need to understand no one will ever be mad at them for creating a quality product that's insane.

i think they're the kind of company who only works just hard enough to make something look good, and play decently in theory. maybe they think consumers are so stupid, that they'll buy something on looks or nostalgia.
