American 14 year old clock kid leaves US for Qatar
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSCfej73vw0
While I find the political diss very funny ( people migrating to Qatar instead of the US for good living conditions ), I wonder if the family will ever regret their decision later on.

i've been to qatar. wasn't much to look at. being that it's so close to the fire, i would say that the move was a bad decision, surely. and over what? a stupid misunderstanding? lol, the kid's parents are morons.
this reminds me of the comic(meme?) someone made online about the clock incident with the kid: how the kid was actually terrorist affiliated, and when obama invited him to the white house, said, "we're in". because of that comic, it seems that the terrorists, having done whatever they planned to do, went back to report.

I think Qatar got only the first part of the story (about the bomb) so they invited him for business. Now that they will find it was a clock, poor kid will be of no interest.

Money doesn't necessarily equates to living conditions. It's related, yes, but not equal to. As one of the guys in the video points out : let's hope none in the family is gay.

Lol. Qatar is the richest country in the world because of all the oil billionaires that live there. Besides, when are people going to realize that grading micro-countries with less people than the population of some individual cities isn't useful. In other news, all of Europe is just like Norway & Monaco.
The family are fools. They can go to Qatar and have fun treating Shia Muslims with 1/10th the respect that even a conservative Texan like Elodin would treat them. Nothing of value is lost from their absence. It's hard to overstate the pathetic irony of leaving a country due to encountering a splash with prejudice, in order to move somewhere that is drowning in it.

no snow. this is like the parents who give their children cosmetic surgery to "improve their looks", or let them roast in tanning beds until they are a shriveled brown, or let them die through prayer instead of giving them life-saving medicine. it's on that level of stupid. it's about as irresponsible as a parent can be.
although i understand them making a big deal about what the school did to their kid(and letting news networks know so they could get involved, to have their kid go back to school), that doesn't mean that they should act irresponsible and stupid themselves.
by moving out of the country, they just painted every american as a racist with no hope for redemption. meaning, they did the very thing that they were so upset that other people did to their kid. that poor kid has to deal with adult idiots on both sides. most kids are left with idiots to raise them; it's no wonder how mostly smart kids with what could be bright futures end up as dumbass adults who overreact to every little negative stimuli. which is one of the main issues with all of human society.

Maybe not so. Maybe they're just going to live among people in which they have more points in common, to avoid trouble. Maybe they'll even change country again once his studies are over. A sum of $ was also offered for them to move, and if they don't mind change country like one change shirts, maybe they'll move again in a few years.

A conservative Texan like me respects anyone who peacefully follows his religion.
Clock boy was outed by FOX as being a fake shortly after taking the "homemade clock" to school. But Obama and his extreme left wing media disciples were too busy shouting "Islamophobe!" to notice.
Also clock boy's father ran for president of Sudan twice and the boy and his father were recently welcomed into the Sudan palace by the dictator of Sudan, who is a war criminal.
If he is indeed leaving the US then good ridance.

i understand people's caution, but when was the last time a kid brought a bomb to school? when a kid bombs a school, then i'll understand overreacting the way they did. this is like when an old friend of mine got kicked out of school for a necklace. the necklace's pendant was a cross, and it had a tiny knife concealed inside. he got kicked out of school, for what could only really be used as a nail file. and that was back in the 90's, before the columbine thing, i think. hell, knives weren't even used in columbine(let alone, knives so tiny as to not be any real threat), so the connection would be moot anyway.

The contraption certainly looked like it could have been a bomb and the school would have been gravely remiss in it's obligation to protect it's students if it had not gotten the police involved.
Can you imagine the public outcry if the device had turned out to be a bomb and it was learned that teachers had seen it and not notified law enforcement?
The incident was a deliberate provocation by a radical Islamic family and they have profited financially from the stunt. It is amazing to me that the left continues to cry "Islamiphobia!"
I recall a 7 year old boy chewed a pastry into the shape of a gun and the left celebrated his suspension from school. Now THAT was not justifiable.

Well, US is experiencing kind the same nightmare as in every other civilized country: minorities are often source of problems so people will act more cautious; but when an error occurs, then you have all the media going nuts and crying to discrimination.
I mean look in France: 60% of prisoners are muslim. Muslims are 5-7% of population. Yet you have people who will affirm that muslims are imprisoned because muslims are 60% more often controlled. Maybe there is something true in that; still people will act based on this statistic.

What the ACTUAL **** is your business with the kid? What are you ALL doing? You are wasting so much calories, so much time with your lives, doing this bull****. The kid and his family did what they did. Do they owe you something? Do you have anything useful, or anything to improve doing this snow? All the bloody time, I see "Muslims this" "Muslims that", why do you give a rat's ass about it? He just moved on, do you have ANY reason to criticize him?

You all know about how aggressive I used to be about Europe's politics. Now I think that it's no good to talk about people that you have no business with and that you don't really understand. And definitely not good to go on about an issue with no real conclusion.

first, muslims aren't exempt from scrutiny just for being muslim, herry. they're subject to the same scrutiny and ass-hattery as everyone else, and shouldn't be excluded merely because of their religious preference. stupidity, under any name, should always be pointed out.
secondly, his parents being muslim is entirely besides the point; they are just as stupid as all the other overreacting parents these days. just so you know.

Fred, man, if stupidity was always pointed out by everyone this would be a better world. And, it's not.
So let's look at the beam in our own eye first, or something like that.
Anyway, I don't have anything else to add, I don't like this kind of talk, no matter if it is about Muslims, Christians, rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, snow-kickers and/or Methodists.
It's a joke man.
