Well, I just hope that Episode VIII will be at least somehwat different from V.
Not that I didn't like VII, but two more copycats won't do it for me.

I don't want Rey to be Luke's father. They already have a child of two main characters from the original episodes.

I want Rey to be Leia's offspring and Snoke to be Darth Plagueis, if anything, he needs a better name, and it would be cool for Rey to find out that her father was killed by her bro.

I don't want Rey to be another Skywalker. Aren't there ANY other force users in the frigging galaxy?  This family has enough already.

Rey is similar to Padme Amidala. Must be her granddaughter. Question is Luke's or Lea's child.
About Snoke... Darth Plagious had power to create life. Maybe be he created him...maybe with assisstance of Darth Sidious... You know the weird ways of Siths...
Maybe just Dark Force created him like Anakin or embodied in him...

They're not going to make a 2nd character be the child of one of the original characters. I'm 95% certain of that.
I think Snoke really is Darth Plagieus (did you notice how he has mortal wounds on his head and on his neck, almost as though he were undead?) As for Rey, she is either a completely new character, or she's the unwanted child of a First Order higher up, such as Captain Phasma or the general, and she was discarded on Bakku because they didn't have the heart to kill her. Maybe she was meant to be kidnapped and raised as a Stormtrooper, just like Finn, but somebody made a bribe to spare her, or she somehow didn't pass a test and was deemed an undesirable recruit.

I hope Snoke really turns out to be Darth Plagueis. And it does make sense, unlike the "Luke as Kylo Ren" rumors.
And good point about Rey and Padme.
Skywalkers are the best and the main focus of this whole franchise anyway

Snoke isn't Plagueis if Andy Serkis is to be believed. And besides, Plagueis is dead and not coming back.
About Rey, her parentage has been spoiled already, in a rather unexpected way. I do not want to spoil this for everyone but if you're interested hcm me.

Plagueis is dead? They thought there was no Sidious threat either, 'til it was too late...
I don't mind a new Sith Lord, though.
And sorry about flogging a dead horse, but in what way did Anakin bring balance? That prophecy makes less and less sense with time, lol.

I don't pay much attention to it because it's lame.
Chosen One = lame
Balance to the Force = lame
Prophecy = lame
metachlorians = really lame. It sounds like a brand name for a swimming pool cleaner.

I agree 110%. Take those out and the prequels about young Obi Wan Kenobi and Qui Gon and their mechanical and/or dark opponents and young Skywalker aren't half bad imo. But it's not possible. Even Clone Wars suffers from that, the golden boy of Tatooine everywhere...

Anybody miss the cameos? Daniel Craig played the dim witted storm trooper that gets mind controlled by Rey and releases her. And drops his gun!
Shawn from Shawn of the dead was the grey scrapper guy from Jakku who Rey was trading to.
When I went back and watched it again, couldn't tell the Shawn of the dead guys voice, but Daniel Craig's is pretty recognizable of you're listening for it.

Whenever I watch the original films, I just erase the idea of "Anakin" of the prequels, because that guy would never become Darth Vader. Lucas tried a lot, and fell short.
Palpatine was the only thing where the prequels really hit the mark for me.
