Duel Map now hosted on Moddb, articles coming somewhat frequently.
I'm having an open challenge in the discord server where I pick a faction each week and each challenger has 2 games against me with a faction of their choice. I'm starting with Dungeon and will try to use all potential tactics by the time this round ends ^^

There's a 3.1 version uploaded as well. Too bad you didn't join the tourney on that one, the finals are going to take place this weekend probably.
The changelog for the standard one is probably too extensive for your liking ^^ But you can find it here.

New friendly 3.1 tourney starting on Friday  If anyone's interested, write here or in the duel server.
In short:
* We play on Vanilla Duel Map, no changes.
* Each round lasts 1 week, best of 3 vs your opponent.
* If you lose once, you're still in the running. This is a double elimination tourney.
* We connect through gameranger or radmin vpn, both easy to use.
* No prizes, we play for fun. This is a friendly tourney.

Hello guys, I hope the new year has treated you well. It is time to honour the original H5 by starting a Friendly Semi-Vanilla Tourney!
Same rules as above though the map is a tiny bit different!
The semi-vanilla duel map is aimed at fans of the original 3.1 gameplay, introducing a healthy dose of balance while keeping the flavour and feel of the game as close to the original as possible. Simple and easy to understand tweaks, no skillwheel changes, nor hard-coded changes. What this means:
- Heroes with crappy specials are now fine.
- Weak upgrades now worth picking.
- Artifacts with too high/low cost fixed.
- Luck/Morale a bit toned down.
[Additionally, this map can serve as a global balance mod. Having it in the Maps folder, applies its balance changes to other maps/campaigns.]
