How do you spend your free time nowadays?

I've been a little out of things, here, as well as my usual interests. Between personal issues, work and getting by in this wonderful state I do not have the time I once did but I still have a somewhat comfortable amount of free time. Aikido was the first to be sacrificed in the hopes of picking it up again after a couple of months but it's been half a year already. Out of three training days I could spare one, maybe two but I had neglected my personal life and I kind of need one of those days to see friends and unwind. Maintaining and building up my relationships with people is more important now, with everyone's ever-growing schedule. Gaming has taken the backseat with some exceptions here and there and I won't even start a game that does not really capture me. I still work on and off on H5 modding as well as working on my personal todo list, whether it is movies, series, games or neglected interests. If there is one thing I do regularly, it is reading light novels on my cellphone and watching an episode or two, series or anime. Preferably short ones to get the most out of new material. I find that they are a good way to ease you into sleep and I certainly could use that. I'm trying to watch one or two movies per week and my list is long! I've started working on my physique again, little by little as my left shoulder has started recovering but still baby steps. Cooking and meditation have been put on an indefinite hold.

That's it more or less. How have you been doing? Will anyone by passing by Athens in the foreseeable future? I met wolfsburg earlier this year and he was a great guy. Most of you probably don't remember him, heh.

Trolling on teh interwebz, and suffering the consequences of zuccing (apearantly finding a photo of donbass marxists and taging the photo as retards numbered 1-5 and a pedophile is worthy of a 7 day zucc)
Also shouting out provocative questions in class, which results in a discussion most of the time (thank bleep my uni isn't tainted with all that safe space, microagression PC bullcrap), nailing my presentations in class, playing some PC and mobile games, and household chores, like chopping wood. Central heating is for suckers. I'm sitting in a comfy +25 Celsius, and all I had to pay for it was a jerry can full of gasoline for the chainsaw, and hundred euros for 2 tons of peat briquettes.
Less mucking around in the bars for me, since all the good ones are out of reach of my uni, and money's tight.

Still trying to figure out my heart and blood vessel disorders, but the docs are weaseling out of it (I've yet to see my MRI scan results), because Hypertensia and mitral valve regurgitation are just few of those. Oh well, maybe Christmas will bring something good.

Been to a games night organised by the student's body, played some 40k, went full nostalgia, and regretted selling my TAU army(and some of the kits were still sealed) on E-bay years back.

An internship in the archives is in the future, so that's something to look forward to, although I wish my internship would take on a military history museum's archive where all the cool historic guns are. Got to hold some on this years International Museum Night event, so that added some gas to the fire

and my days are just spent being a wiseass, no matter what I do.

@Kip

You seem to have good professors. I respect people who take advantage of the opportunity for real discussion instead of getting offended. Firewood chores sounds just like you And I know that nostalgia factor all too well. I have long decided not to get attached on things I used to own so I'd have probably sold them too. Some things are a part of you whether there is a physical reminder or not.
Good luck with your internship and especially your health issues.

@Darksy

Hey man, good to see you. You have your hands full alright, being a responsible adult is a trap! Archery sounds good. I used to make bows as a kid but never took any classes. I rather favoured the sword myself.

@panda

Too bad, I'd buy you a beer if you had some. But it's not a limited time offer so you can take advantage of it when you're freee~ Do the panda drink spirits?

My free time is pretty much spent on Civilization 6 and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.  The rest of my time is spent working on the house and trying to figure out what to do with the room full of childhood junk my parents brought me last Saturday.

I'm trying to keep it varied, even though last days I've fully committed my free time to watching anime (It also needs to be said that last days I've been leaving the house at 8 AM and returning 12 hours later), other things I do include trying to write up a new setting for both an RPG I'm trying to develop and for an homebrew table-top, I'm trying to learn Japanese because I'm becoming a weaboo (But I technically started because I wanted to impress a certain someone).

I still game, though not as much as I used to, I developed a certain fondness for EUIV, but it really depends on the day.

And then I also work out a bit, I may have a more active life style now, but I also eat more, so you know... Losing the fitness I finally gained is not on my list.

I'm a special cup-cake, I'm doing temp-work while looking for a job (in my free time), instead of just signing up to job-seekers and possibly even churning in more money and far more time to look for a proper job (then again only working just as a break from academic life, going to return to it soon, these last few months have been quite lovely, had so many different work-places, met so many great people despite their dead-end lives). Apart from looking for a job, I still play games albeit my time on it is far reduced, been trying to get some time to work on my Bretonnian army, but it's been a month now, HEMA and archery have been on the backseat as well, where I live there's a club, but it's indoors (which is a turn-off for me)

Also I don't really need money myself, but the only thing motivating me is saving some money so that my kids have something for when they get out of care, I ain't completely heartless.

I try to be busy with different activities too, however with my work schedule it's rather complicated. I have rather many hobbies but usually during a week I'm so tired when I'm finally at home after work that only things I want are tasty supper, hot bath, nice movie and finally sleeping in my comfortable bad However on weekends and some other evenings when I'm not too tired I read books in my free time, watch movies and anime too (I got this interest in my teenage years and I still like it very much), write fiction stories, draw or make handmade postcards/pictures. I like playing computer games too, it's usually such a relax for me! Gambling is my other favourite type of spending free time, especially poker, roulettes and various online casinos http://casinope.com/ but don't think that I'm an addict in this case, it's just a small hobby for me like other computer games.
I adore cooking too, dancing and visiting variours interesting places, especially museums, theatres, cinema and concerts but for all of these I have enough time only during weekends. And yeah, I try to keep a healthy lifestyle too, my favourite is yoga in this case which I practise several times a week at home, for me it was the best decision considering that with my work I can't go to gym regurarly

Oh, I like playing computer games too, I was great fan of them in my teenage years and I still play them time till time, however now that happens not too often because adult life is much busier
My the most favourite one is Half Life 2, in my opinion it's the best games which had been ever made. I played it so many times and I dream about releasing third episode some day. They should end that amazing plot!
I also like GTA, Hitman and Alien VS Predator series, the last one from them was really good. BloodRayne is my favourite too, in my opinion it's one of the best ones in case of main female character. Chaser, Thief and Prey are good ones too.
I like some mmorgs too, especially Cabal, Shaiya and World of Warcraft. But I don't play them often because I don't like much that donating thing for such types of games.
And I adore virtual gambling, especially online casinos comeon casino bonus codes and card games, it's a great fun for me too but I've never spent too much money on such games.
