I think Kivo and I made some notable adjustments to the Warlock townscreen, and the Barbarian townscreen also received some improvements from Kivo and Uhm back in the day.
Still, there is a lot to do even with the Knight and Sorceress townscreens.

Yeah Warlock townscreen had gone through some changes. Buildings were misplaced such as the Hydra dwelling was off and looked strange. I also adjusted the background and terrain a bit I believe and some other buildings.

Read the installation instruction. You were not supposed to install over HotA.
P. S. Just install the newest HD Mod update over the whole directory.

You can always turn off the HUD by turning off the <UI.HiRezCore> tweak in the specified settings file, which is located in certain directory.
No, you cannot have HotA and H3SW in the same directory without the help of HD Mod. Simply put, the root of the problem is in different versions of the patcher_x86.dll file. HotA uses a newer version of it, and this is why you cannot launch HotA anymore after the installation of H3SW over the same directory. The patcher is outdated for HotA.
What you had to do is to keep a separate Heroes 3 directory for H3SW.
If you install HotA over H3SW in the same directory, i.e. change the order of mod installation, then H3SW will experience problems and general instability (that's what happens on most computers, at least). The game will launch only 1 of 5 times.
A possible solution is to install HD Mod in the same directory where you have both HotA and H3SW. It automatically updates patcher_x86.dll to the newest version, so HotA becomes available again, and HD Mod also allows to launch H3SW via HD Mod Launcher so it's stable too. It's even more stable than the clean game, and receives some great features like the resolution control and custom RMG template menu.
To remove the HD Mod interface adjustments (I don't know why you would want to do that), you will need to go to era.ini file located in the Mods|The Succession Wars 0.8.1|_HD3_Data|Settings directory.
Find the line <UI.HiRezCore> = 1 and change the value to 0.

Nothing stops you from launching the native HotA executable after the installation of HD Mod.

Maybe I am tripping but I feel like 80% of level 1 creatures on random maps are tribals.
There are often several (2-3) lots guarding the same path aswell.
It's just a little observation after 30+ games on the current version.

We present the second trailer of the project beta, originally shown at Streamfest 2019 event in Moscow, April 27th. Although the contents of the video are mostly based on actual v0.8.x mod builds, those who pay attention may find some new surprises.

Absolutely thrilled about the next update. I played a few scenarios with the latest version and it's a lot of joy. Feels like I'm playing a big expansion for Heroes II which is awesome. Great work!
I especially want to compliment the team for the Dervish town, in my opinion it fits in perfectly.

Still can't get enough of this brillant mod !
A few question :
The Black Dragon dwelling upgrade is really cheap (2500 gold).
This means once you do the red dragon upgrade, you can usually afford to buy the black dragon upgrade the next turn.
The problem with this is that you never end up using red dragons.
I thought maybe if you had to pay like 8 000 gold for the building and each upgrades(8000 / 8000 / 8000), this might solve the problem ?
Another question : In vanilla heroes 3, I believe there are no movement penalties on underground terrain. Is this going to be the case in the futur for this mod ?
Speaking of this terrain (sand), now that it is used for underground terrain, is it never going to show up as "beach" over ground with the sea theme anymore on random maps ? Would there be a possibility that this original sand terrain appears on random maps that are set with no undergrounds ? I always loved this beach atmosphere in heroes 2.
I don't really know how much of a hand you have on the default random map template. If you can't really mess with it, I won't bother you again with question related to it.
Keep up the good work !

Well upgrade red dragons to black dragons cost 1 sulfur more each so if you don't have a sulfur mine usually you can't upgrade all your red dragons, well not immediatly atleast...
Talking about dragons there is a bug involving external creature dwellings
if you have external dragon dwelling and you build a dragon dwelling in your city it will increase the dragons growing by 1 just as expected, but if you have a black dragon upgrade it won't.
