3D printing HoMM units & towns
Recently, I bought a Creality Ender 3 3D for my hobby. And I decided to print several models from HoMM games and I was lucky to find some for HoMM3 as well. Here are several photos:
EDIT: I still have to polish the plastic models. I need sandpaper for that. You can also use ctrl - to see the full images and ctrl + to do the opposite. Necropolis is done. Dungeon is next. Gonna upload the photos later today tomorrow, because it's too late now.

To be honest, I thought about that too. I'm not 100% sure, but I might make one in the future (this can mean 1 year or even 4-5 years). I have many ideas, including a blend of Carcassonne and HoMM, but they also need to be relatively easy to play (eg. you can't make a game with classic dmg mechanics, at least not a board game) and original.

I plan on painting them too, but not soon, unfortunately. Right now I have a lot of other stuff to do.

You can also extract 3D models from H5 and H7. H7 has a built-in exporter, and H5 can be extracted with NinjaRipper.
Besides, many other HoMM3 models aren't downloadable, including Fortress

Thanks, but the 3D models themselves aren't made by me, even though I have expertise in that area. Maybe some later ones will be made by me, if I get bored by printing H5 and H7 units and stuff (or if I just decide it's time for H3).
I didn't update this thread for a long time, but I'm attempting to print the H5 Magma Dragon again on my birthday (so today).
If anyone has some more 3D models from H3 especially, I'd be grateful.

I started printing the entire Tower town. The Castle took me 3 days to print. The Tavern also still has some supports left, mostly at the top, as you can see:

Okay but why is the failed magma dragon actually still really cool looking? It looks like someone was making a massive sculpture of one, gave up, and build a town on top of it instead.

Where did you find those foitmen miniature files ? Or the dragon ?
I want so much the elder druid from Heroes 5 as a STL
