The new resource has just replaced sulfur:
@Edit, with 6 towns on EA release, I imagine two towns will focus on each of the 3 precious resources.

Good catch.
There's a significantly more of the new resource in the screenshot than there is the of the other resources. I wonder if it's gathered at a different rate, like 3 or even 5 per day.
