Yea, that's what I suspect. Red dragon is planned for another faction.
Or, well, you know, it's actually the name of the unupgraded version.

Ok this is the most unimaginative lineup they could have come up with.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that the setting was chosen after the factions were created but even so, you couldn't come up with something unique? Dark dwarves pls.

I like it. Names of creaturesare placeholders according to devs and are likely to change in future. I tjint that its important info and should be added to post with screens.
I like that it's similar to H3 lineup with few shifts and some new elements.
Like Minotaurs are on 4th lvl (different than in h3 and h5)
Meduzas are tier 5, I also like.
Hydras are in Dung, so it might lower chance for independent fortress town from h3 - sadge
Units look better on video when they are moving, than on static screenshot.
Solid line up. Glad to see they didn’t go heavy dark elves. I was wondering if the tier 1 centaur would make a return, but perhaps as a neutral. Idk the lore around this area, I never played m&m.
IMO this is the perfect dungeon lineup. K would maybe replace the hydra with the manticore and put the hydra somewhere else but overall I have no notes. I know a lot of people are not dark elf fans but as someone who grew up with H5 I do admit to a certain fondness of them.Harpies will probably be in stronghold once they add it, harpies have actually been stronghold in every game they appear except 3. Evil eyes I think were a copyright issue with Wizards of the Coast. Interesting that Medusa are stronger than minotaurs. This is also afaik the 2nd apparent Medusa hero. Clearly the Medusa are playing a larger and more active role in the faction than they did in Heroes 3 and Heroes 7.

To me, this is a lineup that does not get me hyped nor truly disappointed - which might be a good thing. Wouldn't have needed 2 elves but it's overall fine. Depends on how they play, in the end, for me...
