LOL, no this is a revamp of his first tournament which no games were played heh heh...
Anyways Redsox quit spamming and play your games!
I hope to have this tournament finished ASAP.
Please IM the players that are left to play and get to it.
There are now only 9 players left as I dropped another 3 today.

The reason no one played any games in that tournament is that you started another one where people had the immediate option of playing 15 other people instead of just 1 person only. With this tournament you aren't forced to play everyone, but you can still play anyone you want. If you play and watch the tournament develop, then you will see that it works much better. If Sir_Elric had come up with this set-up for season 2 you would be cheering him on, instead of picking away at it just because it's RedSoxFan3. If you can find my original tournament, it received a QP bonus, because it was my idea to start chess tournaments. He received a bonus too, because it became much more active than mine.

You spelled Lews Therin wrong. It's Lews__Therin. With a double underline in between. Just so there is no confusion.

You are misunderstanding what I am saying.
You spelt his ZONE name like this (minus the spaces):
L e w s _ T h e r i n
His ZONE name is:
L e w s _ _ T h e r i n
There are 2 underlines in his ZONE NAME not 1 underline unlike his HC name.

The game was set for 5:00am my time. Iīve stayed awake all night, and waited for more than half an hour, reloading HC all the time (and watching the zone room as well) but Athimus didnīt arrive. Goodnight!

I have sent a IM to you(or him) telling what happened, I am sorry, my computer failed to connect, and now I am accessing HC at my work. I will try to put my PC to work ASAP. But it could be considered a WO too, if Lews want to, considering that we have scheduled the game a day or two before.

Lews Therin 1/1 - 2/0 Athimus Phaeni
After 2 difficult games, with both players having time problems and lot of mistakes in opening, Lews Therin won!
Both games were hardly played and went to rook finals, ending in a forced draw in the first one, and a Lews victory in the second one, after Athimus doing a mistake when he(I) had only 8 seconds(Lews had 30), and Athimus time went out.
Congratulations Lews Therin, we will meet again in RedSoxFan3 tournament!

Thank you :-).
It was an interesting ending in the second game, with my rook stranded on f4. Iīve taken a look at it, even if you had played Ra3 there in time trouble, I could have won by trading rooks on f3. Black wins the resulting pawn ending
White: Kf4, Ph3
Black: Kg6, Ph4, f5
after a triangle maneuver:
63. ... Ke6 64.Kf3 Ke5 65.Ke3 f4+ 66.Kf3 Kf5 67.Ke2 Ke4 68.Kf2 f3 69.Kf1 Ke5 70.Ke1 Kf5 71.Kf1 Ke4 72.Kf2 (72.Ke1 Ke3 -+) 72...Kf4+

Wow *sobs* people that know chess and play it seriously. I already know your Elo rating Lews, but do you have a Elo or USCF rating Athimus_Phaeni of some sort?

No, Jester, i dont have elo rating, neither FIDE, nor anything international. And, Lews, I will take a look in it.
---------------
Edit:
Yes, in this position you win. But before this, in this position:
White: Kh3, Ra7, Ph2, Pf4.
Black: Kf5, Rg4, Ph5, Pf6, Pe6
I misplayed Rf7??. Ra5+ would end in a draw, because if you take the pawn in f4, i simpley give you my rook in a succession of checks(too many possibilitis to say here), or if you dont take my pawn, moving your king to g6, i would move Pf5, giving the pawn, and then the Rook. Any other move with the king, i would give a succession of checks. I think it would be a draw. Analize it.
