Hi everyone,

I am new on this Forum and I just began modding Heroes 3 Wog (and I enjoy doing it).
I always thought that Conflux town was a bit off, because the elementals were creatures to be summoned and not to be recruited. The only original addition in this town was the Sprites and the Phoenix. Furthermore I always thought this town had a bug, because you can recruit the Fire, Earth, Psychic Ellementals and Phoenix and it would be like you had Armageddon's Blade. You could use Armageddon in every turn of the battle.
So, I have made a new town (replaced Conflux town with a town of Thieves and Naturalists)and changed some elements of the rest of the game altogether.

I would like to rename the Planeswalkers to Thieves and the Elementalists to Naturalists. Also I would like to rename the heroes (I already know how to change their look).

Can anyone give me the erm commands for that? I would really appreciate it.

The topic is not dead, but the latest questions are not ERM related or need only a quick peek into ERM help, which you can do yourself. Do something, post it and you will get solutions if there are any. The topic is not about giving free scripts before you even try at least one.

I suggest you extract all the txt. files from H3bitmap.lod and check them carefully with the appropriate text editor, and you will have your answer.

i actually managed to find the script in the map and copied it.
Now i just keep using that one to name my buildings

You can rename any dwelling you want by that command.

However, I checked out what Salamandre said about the texts and it proved to be much easier. You may rename anything you want, every text in the game is there.

Error Message

I keep getting a Syntax error that goes like this:
File:Monsters
Line 5522
Reason: Error! Attmpt to use "!!BU" in non-human battle (use flag 1000 for checking). Can anyone give me advice on how to troubleshoot this error? Thanks. All help appreciated.

That means a mapmaker forgot to set to false a battle flag and an AI hero triggered it, while the !!BU command works only in human battles. There is nothing you can do during game, except tracking the script and fix it.

Also the creature-town association for Pixies and Firebirds doesn't seem to work as well. This is it, isn't it?

Put a "[/smileys)" (Use this "]" bracket at the end instead of this ")"!) at the end of your post or after the last ERM command line...

It Didn't work!
The Nightmares are still dead and Pixies and Phoenix are still not conflux creatures. I don't get it either, it works for other creatures. Sprites and Phoenix already were Conflux creatures, how can that be? Even without the commands they are not conflux creatures.

I don't get what you want. I tried the code and nightmares are now affected by cure, thus they are alive. Why you want to change sprites/Phoenix to...conflux? They are already.

I mentioned that.

They ARE conflux town creatures but by changing the rest creatures and make them Conflux creatures, suddenly the sprites and Phoenix became neutral creatures. I don't know why. And even with the ERM command they won't change back. That means that they lose the +1 morale of creatures of one alignment (It's no big deal but I would like to fix it)

As for the nightmares this command you gave me didn't work. They are still unaffected by morale and I can;t resurrect them.

Can anyone give an alternative command or way to change those things?

I can resurrect them. Thus there are 2 options left: you have a bad install of WoG or you did not put the script properly in. As for conflux thing, I still don't get it. Put here your whole code.
