A Heroes Veteran in the Persian Gulf

I thought I would share this letter with the heroes veterans who know Khayman:

Khayman here.  Just wanted to let you know that I am alive and well, and that I am really looking forward to some rest, relaxation, and lots of Heroes gaming once I return from over here.  I hope you and Melissa are doing well.  Please tell the 'old school' TOHers that I said "hello" and I hope they are staying out of trouble.  Wish I could make the hot seat in Arizona, but I don't think I will be back by then, but you never know...

Stay safe, stay cool, and stay strong!

David Missimer
First Lieutenant, USMC

Pray that all David and all the troops will come home safely

May God help you guys to return home Alive as true heroes!
I have not any sympathy for Iraq people, but I don't agree with the U.S. policy.
Stop the war,

STOP THE WAR RIGHT NOW

I think the americans are making a huge mistake !!!
Stop the war right now, stop the killing of innocent people. As they didn't like the death of their civilians at 11 september, maybe they undestand the iraq's people and stop the war ASAP.

Russia wouldn't change much!Unless they had a nuke!
That would change quite a lot!Personally,I think Russia should not have to say anything about this war! They aren't better themselves!Remember Afganistan and Tšetšenia?

to Azure-whadeva:
The war can't be stopped! Why would u want to stop it anyway? It has already started, better get this over with!U think it will make anything better if UUSSA retreats out of war?It doesn't matter whether they stop now or go on with it and stop after besieging Bagdad for some years, maybe the number of deaths only,it does not change much! The other countries will still hate UUSSA!

Personally I think USA should not have to say and especially do anything, they aren't better themselves, remember ?

KOREA (1950 - 1953)
LIBANON (1958)
CUBA (1961)
VIETNAM (1964-1975)
DOMINICAN REP (1965-1966)
GRENADA(1983)
LIBYA (1986)
PANAMA(1989)
IEAQ(1991)
SOMALIA(1992-1993)
YUGOSLAVIA(1994)
HAITI(1994-1995)
AFGHANISTAN(1998)
SUDAN(1998)
YUGOSLAVIA(1999)
AFGHANISTAN(2001)
IRAQ(2003)

those are just most famous, there is many others
who is next ?

Well,South Korea doesn't want them,so they could be going south first to save their own men.

To that other guy(forgot who it was):
USA doesn't have anything to say against this conflict, they are not against it!The piipol are,but not the goverment.Remember these?I'm not sure if I even know all these! What I meant was:The Russians can't complain about unjustified war,cuz Russians and Americans apparently seem to be masters at this kinda thing.

Let's pray

Quote:
Pray that all David and all the troops will come home safely

Should I really pray for this?

What does it mean to pray? Is it to say God what you want or listen to what God wants from you?

Did ever God want people to kill each other? Yes? Where did you hear or read it? Yeah, Osama said it! Holy inqvisition said it! Thousand other sick and crazy people said it. But did you hear God saying something like that?

All I can do is to pray that Khayman and other lunatics will throw their weapons away and will start doing the right thing. What is the right thing to do? To kill each other? Or mayby to transform human life to a one big prayer? What is a prayer? Did I already ask this question?

They all there in the Gulf are already dead. So does it matter if they get killed or not? Mayby it's better when thousands of them stay there in desert. Iraqis and Americans. Or mayby not ?!?

I feel sorry for all the UK and American soldiers there.
Remember Wolfmans signature:
Quote:

"What luck for the rulers that men don't think!"

And yes,I think the talk about the war should remain in the Other side. There have already been new threads about it,enough I think.

who will NOT be next on list and why:

North korea - close to china, they have nukes, chance of high nunber of dead usa soldiers, also no oil, not stategicaly good position

Iran- they have nukes, which will be enough to keep usa awat

african countries with dictators - they dont hold any value for usa, not important at all on geopolitical map

who can be next ?

for example usa long time friend saudi arabia, somebody will suddenly remember that 16 of 19 terrorist which caused 9/11 were saudis

palestinians - one sometimes wonder if its not goverment in israel who dictate foreign policy of usa

I for myself hope that people in united states will next election vote for somebody who will take care of real problem in usa, if you think its bush.. well think again,
unemployment rate, major problems with economy, health system sux, education system sux, social security sux, etc etc, many problems, 1 bigger then other and your president does not care at all, I feel bit sorry for you guys, because whole world will hate american citiziens for this war, its clear fail of your goverment, like it or not, bush is anything but diplomat and same goes for powell and rumsfeld as well.

I won't hate the Americans...

I mean realy! If Operation:Kick Ass-Get Gas ends in Iraq and if they don't take their war to Saudi Arabia er somthing.
Generally piipol think the same here in Estonia:most ppl are in favor of this war cuz we just got into NATO!U are forgeting that not all piipol are against the war, just the ones that are,are the louder ones!

However,I think even Bush is not that big a idiot to continue the war after Saddam falls!

c'mon, folks........

As was earlier suggested, why can't we just leave all the political b.s. in the thread it already resides in and receive Melissa's post in the spirit in which it was intended.

Namely, a fellow HoMM fan and ToH vet who has been a member of this community for a long time is now involved in this war and this is an opportunity to extend to him our wishes for a safe return.

Khayman, my thoughts and prayers are with you and all the other people involved in this tragic situation--on either side.

Nobody hates war as much as a soldier.
