Sadly it looks like generic CGI crap, I don't have expectations for that one.
Civil War has to be the real deal tho.
Not all of it is CGI tho unlike avatar. It's all gonna depend on how well he orcs look standing next to humans. But iirc the human's armor and storm wind are all real props. And I'm just glad they're telling the original wc story. And I really think if they tryed to pull off the orcs without any CGI it wouldn't have looked like Warcraft orcs.
Civil war does look amazing though. I haven't seen an captain America movies, was told the first one stunk but the 2nd I should watch before civil war.

Well, it seems that I won't go and see BvS and wait to see some other superhero movie instead in May.
Speaking of features coming soon, many people seem to don't know about a new semi live-action adaptation of "The Jungle Book" by Disney. Wy semi? Because all the things on the screen except for the boy that plays Mowgli are CG. The film looks phenomenal (especially on the big screen,) it has a great voice cast and comes out on April 15th, so go and check it out when it's released.
PS. Disney Poland releases this movie in two versions - with dubbing and with subtitles! I'm so happy for that!

I am also so psyched for Warcraft. My childhood coming to life.
The new jungle book looks really cool indeed and those voice actors are amazing. I hope it does well.

When it comes to Warcraft, it's CGI looks like the one from the games, which is a plus IMO.

Pretty much this. I like that they're using sets and all that too but those clips of the story line from wc3 and the intro videos of WoW are so cool...a movie made like, I'd definitely like.

Well, one look at who they casted for Lex Luthor (and while we're at it Batman) was enough to make me not think of this movie too well.
Matt Dameon
Matt Damon.

If it was a fully animated movie than yes, otherways it just looks fake and cheap with its over use of not that good CGI

Warcraft HAS to be good. There is no alternative. It's this new era of cinematography's last stand for me. There's the expectations of millions of fans that don't want their sweet memories tarnished. I sure want to be proud of this movie because I want to enjoy it with all my family. My dad hasn't experienced modern cinema with 3D and surround yet and I'm definitely considering taking him with me at the premiere. There's SO much at stake here.

I'm not deluding myself that Warcraft will be good. All I'm saying is that it has to be good. There's a difference there. I will probably not like most of it, but I sure do hope I'm gonna at least enjoy some of it. If not, then snow you american cinematography, you're dead to me.

Because blockbusters don't work for you? Boy, oh boy, you are looking at the very surface of American cinema. US films have way more to offer than superhero flicks and their derivatives. Let me ask you a question - have you seen any motion picture that was nominated for an Oscar in "the best feature" category this year? If yes, did you like them? If not, go and see them. Go and look for other films that come out soon. You are bound to find something that will interest you.

I am fairly certain I read an article about this Warcraft movie, how fans will outrage because not everything will be according to the original game(s).
To me, I doubt that's a thing worth being outraged for, for I believe one story could be told in different ways and still work.
What do you think of that, though?
