| My last experiences on the zone and here on HC showed exact the opposit. Many members who come to this board know about the game, but havenīt played online yet. They never heard about "TOH" though. Their first view mostly goes into the library, coz they hope to find new tactics and stuff and not into the TOH board, coz nothing tells them this forum is about online gaming..

After their first "false" post (magic is better than might, Solmyr all the way...etc...), they were forced to go to the zone and play online....and then they ask how.
Now they can see this thread on the first day they enter the library forum and donīt have to ask anything but to read and join....

When they decide to join a tourney (TOH or WW), they should have solved all problems already and nothing keeps them away from getting their a**** kicked in their first games...

I think Xarfax111 deserves a Qp. His post is a good reminder of the glory-days in ToH. I was never around during that period but I've always known there had to be some great war stories out there. Check it out:

I have never read anything like that from Xarfax before, so it was nice to see him tell a story that had me completely fooled until the very end.

We were still contemplating the name as we feel this is imperitive to the transition.  Since the Library is more question related I have a feeling that Val may leave it as is unless Mr. Massy wishes to change it.

K that's it.Update complete.IM sent to Conan and soon this will appear in the ToC too.

@Angelito:Nebuka's links towards some explicit pics on cript fighting are all broken. Those are some long(and unfortunately  useless posts now).Maybe neb still has those pics saved in his comp.I haven't seen him in a while though.

Also Archie's Tactics in Topia& hive fighting are great IMHO, but the lack of illustrations make them a bit hard to digest.I think i understood what he meant and i'll try to recreate those pics again if that's ok with you.

| Just my opinion of course, but I think Tigris deserves a QP for the illustrations he posted on Archie's tope tactic.  I find that for noob's like myself, you don't really believe something can be done until you see it with your own eyes.  I know for myself, when I fisrt started playing online, I never went for crypts with day 1 troops.  After Angelito agreed to help me by playing 2 vs 2 against AI, he walked me through a Full Crypt battle day 1.  Many posts went back and forth (what do I do now, the AI did this, now what?, etc...) and finally I came out only losing minimum fodder.  My point is that if I read this in a tactic column, I probably would think to myself "how cool!!" but would go on about my game never trying the tactic myself.  In much tougher battles such as a tope, I think the illustrations would give new commers the confidence to try the tactic.  Sometimes pictures speak louder than words.
 Just my 2 cents.

| Is there a list (like the ToC) where a Thread that I created could be Posted to help out people experiencing various "computer problems"?
Here is the link: Simple Tech Support

I'm just looking to help out anyone who might have experienced the same problems as me, but I can't exactly do that if my Thread is buried in the Library Archives.

 Thanks!

| This idea may be shot down in a hurry, but what the heck....
What about putting a forum or thread on HC dedicated to WW?  I see in the toh threads they have talks about toh stuff, clans, etc...

It may be just because of tribes season right now, but it seems that WW is more active (and personally more fun) than toh.  Maybe with a WW thread, there can be talks of tribes or any other subtourny's within WW.  I know a website exists already for WW, but the people already familiar with HC may be more active here at HC.

Ok, now I will cast anti magic (expert earth) on myself before someone decides to implode me

Edit**  I just realized this may be a delicate subject and maybe Azure and Valeriey may need to agree to this first.  Intention is NOT to replace existing WW message board or contents... but to provide a place for HC community to post anything related to WW and subtournys.

I completely agree with the +QP because it directly relates with the 1st Post that I made in this Thread...about how I hate & don't understand math-detalied explanations and how I love snapshots!

Now I can actually SEE how to handle a Dragon Utopia early in the game! Thanks tigris and thanks LKru for nominating it.
