H4 & H3 Unification- MAH
(Also Posted in H4 thread) In Late February, ToH will close down for about 2 weeks. When ToH Re-opens, homm3 and homm4 ToH will be one.
Details:
1- The rankings page will have both homm4 and homm3 players ranked, distinguished by special icons III & IV. New players can register either as homm3 or homm4 players, or both.
2- A new look for the site (though I like homm4 ToH's look already, but it will be refined and improved).
3- All homm3 player records will be moved over to the homm4 database, and stats will not be lost. All homm3 medals and vet icons carry over to the new rankings, with a new fresh season.
3a- Homm4 players will have a new season by then, and there will be new veteran icons for homm4 records/history.
3b- Therefore in late February/early March, both homm3 and homm4 will start a fresh new season together.
4- The season will run at least one year.
5- I will oversee both sides, and administrate most of the behind-the scenes work. Volunteers are welcome. My current homm4 volunteers continue their positions as usual.
6- A fresh clans, land based, using the current land map will be set up, where both homm4 and homm3 players will participate in the same clans. How can two totally different games & players participate in the same subtourney? Well its been all figured out, and very cool, trust me 
7- Subtourney overkill will not be happening, it only weakens the ones that exist.
8- As of late February, I will have more time to manage both, and since both sides will be amalgamated under one admin program, it will make management of it all a lot simpler.
9- Expect ToH to remain solid in supporting homm3 and homm4, until Homm5 appears. Then god help us, that it will be a good game worth dumping h3 & h4 for.

I would just like to take this opportunity to utilize some ebonical "smack-talk".
**Ahem**
When H5 hits the shelves and ToH embraces it, the dawn of a new age shall approach. I hereby warn you all that if you hate losing then you might as well drop from the tourney rather than do battle against the likes of me! I may have been late in entering ToH for the 5 or so years leading up to this point but God have mercy on the foo that brings it my way! Oh yeah you guys are looking at the next ToH MASTER!

Excellent, just 2 questions here...
Is it necessary to re-register?
Will MaH icons carry over? Personally prefer that they dont and it gets back to Toh being totally unique as a tourney.

No need to re-register, since the database will be carried over by my automation programmer guys.
Veteran icons & MVP icons carry over, not the other tourney icons.
There will be separate H3 and H4 warlords, but presented on the same page.

On a more serieus note.
What will happen to the prestige points earned in MAH?
And I will take this oppurtunity to volunteer for helping around with updates and stufffff. Lord knows I have plenty of time LOL
If there is a chance that TOH will get back on its feet a bit I want to help!@

In regards to the HC, you, and any other homm3 Honor Council member join up with Deth8, Lichking, and Zud as honor council members. All the HC members know homm3 well.

Someone 'IM'-ed me about what the role of Kitten or Ravyn is in this future ToH then?
Simple Answer: As much or as little as they would want to have roles in it.
Its just that the central admin, player management, general ToH focus & decision making, clans, & ToH updates would be my sole responsibility.

Regarding Volunteering
I have been able to run most of what I said above by myself, once the automation kicked in, and with far greater activity than what we have nowadays.
But VERY IMPORTANT to have volunteers in:
Honor Council - which I think is running fine right now, with homm4 HC and homm3 HC combining, there should be no problems.
Map Council - This is where things get weak, Jinxer & a few others has helped on the homm4 side, but is there such a thing existent for homm3 ToH?
Transition Point - During the ToH 2 week closure, adding the vet icons & modifying records of about 2000+ players for new season -- But I think my current group of volunteers with access to the ToH admin are kicka$$ when it comes to helping out with that.
General Subtournament Volunteers - If we do have any other subtourneys beyond Clans & Warlords, then other volunteers will take over those.

Reagarding Lichs question the answer can be very simple.
We should rename the MAH section of the forum to TOH Heroes 3 and the other to TOH Heroes 4.
