What is your real name?

My name is Vilius in Lithuanian, but everywhere else I'm called Willie or William.
I know that my name originates from Germany, from Vilhelm.
It means:
deutsch, vil = will, helm = helm
Will-helm = Willhelm.

My Real Name
My real name is, Jacob Martin Batchelor.
As an american most of us can only associate our last name with any sort of ancestral heritage. As you could have guessed, the name is English and I do believe my family has a crest of some sort. Although I've only seen it once I can't remember the exact appearance. As it turns out I am also related to some Welsch general from the 1500's.
My family name has been in america since the late 1700's. I believe they were also slave holders like many of the English that migrated to North America.
My current ancestry of lower class labor workers began during the Oklahoma land rush. They were called "sooners and boomers".
As for my first name it was given to me by my mother who is a fervent advocate of Israel both ancient and modern-day. As you all know Israel translated means Jacob in English. When I was in junior highschool I wanted a more male-friendly nickname that my guy friends could call me by. All the girls would call me "Jake-up", mispronouncing the name Jacob. So I wanted a tough sounding guy nickname such as "Jake". My mother respected my wishes and has called me that ever since.
My middle name is Martin which was also given to me by my mother whose maiden name was Janis Marie Martin. That was the name passed to her by her father before marrying my father. I believe Martin is of Irish ancestry.

Ilia is the name. It's an old Russian name that's used a lot by Jewish folk like myself since it's similar to the Jewish name Elijah. Yep. Pretty cool name.
