another question: How do you do the color change? I allways made this, quasi pixel per pixel, in paint^^ how did you do it?

While I use paint for most of the editing, I do colour changes in photoshop. If you have it, tell me and I'll explain how it's done.

Alright then, this is how you do it in photoshop:
There a couple of ways, to be used in different scenarios.
The simplest is if you have a unit in a colour other than grey. In this case, you use the magic wand tool to select the area that you want to change the colour of.
Here is a screenshot:

Look at the tolerance textbox. A value between 50 and 100 usually works. Also, make sure that anti-aliased is checked OFF. Click on the desired areas to select them. To select additional areas, hold the SHIFT key and click on them. Now you should have all desired areas selected (as in screenshot).
Now, press Ctrl+U. Here's what you will see:

Play around with the 3 values to get the desired colour. After you get a good colour, you're pretty much done except that it may look too flat (not enough highlights/shadows). There is a brightness/contrast tool in 'Image > adjust > brightness/contrast' which you can use to fix that.
So there, this is how you do it. If you want to change the colour of greyscale creatures, I'll explain it later.
