which version do you have?
the gif will be made when you make the def file with the animation. you can take an existing creature to base yours on and the frames will be easier to make. then use gif animator to link all the frames you have made and you will have a postable animation ( or consult with mitzah  )

the shadow is made with purple(or is it pink?) you can see it in the hipogrief picture(your picture) and the background is light blue
