You DON'T have to make a shadow!!! The defmaker will make it. I'll send the DMaker as soon as I can...
About the tempest lord, I'll ask Acid or Tim and see if they like him...

oh. thats good  Thx, Mitzah, Ste sent it allready  But somehow I couldnt make a viewable def... I saved it as def file but defviewer didnt show it in its open menu...

what do you think, should it be a new creature or a replacement of existing one?
will it shoot or only attack in melee?

Hmm, my intention was, to give the Fortress a secon shooter - so maybe replace it with a Fortress unit or (preferred^^) make it a new one - well, but is it possible to put it into the castle at all?
Any tipps about my def-maker problem?
edit:
I would have it not movebale - if possible - and maybe more def instead or sth - well, I made a gif with another animation prog - the quality is much better^^:

ok, no problem; i can make both(i think). the first option os to replace the lizard warrior animation(.def file) and then you will have s/th like a skin for the lw. i will only have to adjust the stats and abilities. the other way is to add it as a new creature and give it to the player via script.

@heroes: lol. i have them all up to Heroes 4 without the expansions

Daddy...errr...yeah...well, you need DefMaker8.5(thats 8.5)...Just use the creature wizard...The 3.5 version has some glitches...
Another IMPORTANT THING: You have to replace it with a shooting troop...OR you could give it(through ERM) a shooting ability altough it could be unstable...

I have 8.5 What is the wizard for? ah, well, I will have a look at it tomorrow thx for your help

post it anyway i wanna see it  photobucket.com or MyImgSrc.com are two that i find the easiest to upload images, but not the best.

thx, Titanium I like ur Ringwraith and Amethystdragon best! - The Ogimonster allways just cracks me up lol, I luv it^^
I f8nally dug through this defmaker thingy and now I will start making the other actions for my plant.
i.e.:
move (still not sure if I want her to be movable)
turn left-front/back/right-front/back (I gues, I will need to do this anyways - if she is attacked from behind - possible if u teleport her away)
shoot (up, front, down)
meele attack (up, front, down)
movement "in between"
movement when u put ur curser on it
get hit after using defend option
get hit
die
hope i didnt miss one.

it is better to include moving animation to the plant. i can always disable moving. but keep this job for the end.
