Update on my latest game.
Timeline: Pre-Warp
Galaxy age: Normal
Galaxy Size: Huge
Difficulty: Easy
Race: Psilon
Opponents: 7
- Trilarian
- Elerian
- Gnolam (No Contact)
- Sakkra (No Contact)
- Unknown
- Unknown
- Unknown
So, Mentar's in the south; like you see below
So, I researched quickly, explored to the north, found my second colony (Logos), explored further north, and bumped into Orion 
Founded my third Colony (Sophia) to the West of Mentar, continued to Advance in research, and establiched a Colony at the Kleb Star system, which was linked to Logos via a Wormhole. Now guess who I met!
Trilarians *shrugs* At least they are not Honorable Militarists, or they would have outnumbered my forces... luckily it was not meant to be 
I quickly bought the only tech they had (Survival Pods) for Automated Factories. Trilarians like Psilons by default, so I'd better use this to my advantage. They didn't even complain when I send a Colony ship to Kleb (my outpost was a TUNDRA planet, so why them Water Monsters didn't colonze it is beyond me.. stupid AI  ) I renamed Klab into something more appropriate (Sapiens)
In the meantime I already had another colonyship ready, which I sent to a star system to the east of Orion. The planet I colonized (Oghma) was Large Abundant Tundra with Natures! Gimme-Gimme.
But then I met someone else. And after meeting my default friend, I met my Default Enemy.
Ruthless, Expansionistic Elerians... I should brace for war... just in case.

The tool have limits so can not have more 249 planets Normaly on Huge there is 71 systems and 165-200 Planets (But when edit savegame manulay you can have more....)
Oh Lexxan there is an cheat code but only use it and reload the game with load Game(so you wwon't be named cheater at HIgh Scores) it is LeftAlt+ISEEALL and you will see all

Be calm the main thing you have to worry about is the Tech level comparsion with your opponnents and spys to keep your secrets safe

Hmm wonder if running two races is considered 'cheating'  . Lol could you imagine something like a Sakkra and Spy (what is the name of the spy race?) combo?

Sakkra and Darloks  i used Hot Seat mode at the beginning to
Ohh the Trillarians have conquered Gnol now i see thats disturbing news.... It seems that they aren't that Lucky

Explored eastwards, bumped into Klackons. As both Trilarians and Sakkra outnumbered me in Population, I decided to wage a war against the Insects. I won decively
Meanwhile, the Trilarians destroyed the Gnolam and Darlocks, while the Elerians were eliminated by the Sakkra... at least I'm the most populous race atm

For anyone who likes Master of Orion:
Try Galactic Civilizations 2 too...
It's really good...
There is also the free orion but last time I saw it it wasn't in an 1.0 stage, which means that it lacked in many aspects(including AI...)

Me too. I will get Masters of Orion II again very soon. May have to wait till I recieve my new debit card (don't use credit cards) as I lost my other, but I WILL get it.

Well, it didn't go well at all. I've got an ERRATIC Human Neighbor who quickly took a runaway position... Couldn't catch-up with him.
