I kinda disagree. The thread was okay and it was kinda funny. But not the funniest I've ever read at HC. And not worth a QP.

I also disagree as well.
It seems that not enough time is spent making the actual posts for the rp, thus it seems that not enough effort is in.
I have seen much better threads that are deserving of QP's, and I do not think that Born of Crime is one of them.
Well that's my opinion anyway.

To me Glade can be a QP heaven, but it really requires a group of people putting consistant effort into an RP. And long-term effort.
Back in 2004 people would earn tons of QPs. I think I probably gave out a few too many at times, but most of them were more than well-earned.

I can see that the Glade was revived again.  It has become quite popular recently.
I'm glad to see that. It was kind of desolate, a few weeks ago.
Many posters, that have never been hear before, post here a lot. It's great to see that.
In my opinion, it mainly happened because of the appearance of some new RP threads; HOMM RP, Elementalist, The Superhero RP - OOC, etc.
I really appriciate the initiative to take abandoned forum and to try to revive it.
The fact that you succeeded doing that is awesome. Well done.

Glad to see that the homm RP has somewhat proved to be slightly more successful then my metrograde thread was, and that was also a glade revival thread, try to get this place up and running again.
But yeh, I too am glad to see this place getting some more activity, even if it is not as much activity as the other forums, at least it is getting any activity at all

I really remember 2004 when there was a lot of interesting read here Saga of Glade River Valley was always my fav 
As for a group of people putting consistent effort into RPs, you can count on me being one in it. Lately I have been pretty active concerning a few new, but already profound rps and hopefully I will remain that way in future. Many new RPers have come and I am glad cause now we have a new generation growing up to be the highlights of the forum 
And I have found myself a source of inspiration which drives me towards writing every single moment when I think about her. Hopefully, it will not make me run out eventually

Sadly the Superhero RP died before it even got started. Pity, I had some plans about this one...
But at least the other threads are very active and that's good. Who knows, maybe I'll find a way to fit into them as well later on.

Giving out QPs in this forum is difficult, as judgments of the level of writing will always be subjective. Nevertheless, if you see a post within a thread that displays an extraordinary grasp of storytelling, don't hesitate to bring it up in this thread. We can't always read every post in the Glade, so be sure to let us know whenever something really strikes you.
Efforts to introduce new ideas and RPs to add life (and posters!) to the Glade are almost universally rewarded as well, so long as they get past the first few pages. You never know if an idea will take off, either, and it never hurts to post it and see what others think.

Hi!
I'd like to nominate Kareeah_Indaga for a QP. She has helped me greatly in running my Pokémon RPG. Her latest exploit was helping me organize each participant's inventory (a time consuming task considering the RPG has 20+ pages now ).
I'm not sure if QP's can be awarded on the basis of continued merit (as opposed to a single quality post), but I deeply believe she deserves it.
I'd appreciate it if a mod could go check out the RPG/OoC threads to judge for him(her)/self if the QP should be awarded.

EDIT: I'd also like to nominate Omega_Destroyer for his work in the War of 5/8. Even though most of the 200+ pages of that RPG are at the Round Table (at Celestial Heavens), he's shown great commitment and quality in his updates.

First of all I agree with Winter... but something has been weired for me all the time... WHY IS THE BARDS GLADE BLUE (The background behind the "Heroes Community")?!?
Is that on purpose? I know that it isn't my internet explorer... problem with HC or just some wicked style thing to make it yet more different from the rest of HC?

If you wanna find out about the past of this forum and why things are the way they are, then it is overwhelming, in my opinion. For me, I like searching about the HC past because it is just something I like to do. I feel the urge to do it, but that might not be the case with you. Anyway, the urge to reply to nearly all posts is not overwhelming either you know? Sorry, couldn't resist
I think the reason was because either Kittenangel or Valeriy changed the colour just for a change, way back when this particular RPG forum was made. People didn't really like it, and they changed it back but not entirely.
At least that is what I think happened.

Lith wanted it changed, from what I remember. I don't think anyone ended up liking the new color choices, though.
QP nominated, seconded and applied to Kareeah_Indaga. I agree, it's quite a task to maintain such a large thread. Sorry for not responding earlier, but I've just been able to pop in from time to time during finals. I'm going to try to read through the RPs and reward exceptional posters therein, but feel free to continue nominating people so I can focus my efforts a bit. Thanks guys.

I second Elvin's statement. He has worked hard at that rpg and in several others.
There are several who for their overal continued participation should be looked at for a star imo. The glade is finally coming back to life (has been for a bit), and it will take everybody's participation to keep it going strong. .

As for Omega, I definitely have to nominate him for the quality and personality of his in-character (Mordock) posts in Gladeiron. If the QP has to be awarded for a single post, then I formally nominate his most recent post. I quote the first paragraph so it's easier to find:
