Or you could just let people browse the forums to find the QPs on their own. I think there could easily be just 3 stickies in this forum. Feedback Thread, Table of Contents, and an updated Welcome to Glade Thread.
Roleplaying tips would be included in this new Welcome to Glade thread.
If the mods want, I could compile 2 improved sticky threads for this very purpose.

...the comeback...
...a thunderbolt strikes somewhere in the distance, away from the relatively peace of the place known as the Bards' Glade, a few trees are set ablaze as a comet dives through them, heading straight for the large pyre at the centre of the Glade...
...he comet crashes in a cloud of dust and ashes, when the smoke dies down a single figure lies curled on the ground, covered by a torn dark cloak and slowly struggling to rise to its feet, first using only its hands, then the halberd that somehow grows in its grip...
...glowing green eyes show under the hood and there is a stream of blood down the man's chin, still staggering to his feet he glances around, then collapses back on his knees...
finally... home
back at long last...

Could someone who has been around here for a while tell me that how long does the post-holiday depression usually last? Or is it abnormal to have a post-holiday depression in the Glade? Do RPGs usually survive through this harsh and cold era?

It usually lasts from 3 months to a year or two.
And needs someone like mytical and a lot of new members to rise it up again.
Just go gather new members and it starts rolling again.

Yes the Glade had very low activity in the last weeks. But Mytical will be back soon and maybe it will bring some new life to this place.

We may need some more new blood in the Glade for new threads to start. Those who are already participating in RPs reached the limit of the amount of RPs they can participate in (each their own).
But, that's just my opinion.

Sad to say I even over extended myself. There are quite a few good rpgs here, but that can also be a problem (not a bad one  ). If there are 10 good Roleplaying games and under 10 roleplayers..it can cause a lot of them to fail despite how good they may or may not be. There are several (semi)active games..and currently no new blood to spice things up.

Well being very biased I would choose the crossover thread. Since just about any type of character can be used there. It was just for already established characters, but needs new blood bad. Just a bit of a warning the type of RPG it is is subject to change. At any time it can be fantasy, science fiction, a combination, or something else entirely.

Just wanted to thank everybody who has been participating in the RPG's here. Keep up the excellent posting, making our jobs as Moderators a little harder (choosing which of the posts deserve the quality points).

Ok just too many good posts/excellent posters. So I am asking for YOUR help. Nominate a post and/or poster. This is serious, the glade has revived some, and I feel that there should be some recognition for all your hard work. Please don't nominate yourself. If it is for a specific post include Name of Roleplay, page it is on, which post number it is, and name of poster (NOT character name).
A link to the page, post number, and name of poster will also do.
