Ps o not misjudge ppl if they behave stupidly,it might come true they are pretty smart.

Well, I should have addded: "... the way I get them". The French/Spanish teacher is a foul, wicked, lying Gorgon, who obviously teaches only because of the wage, she gets as a senior teacher. She despises us. And physics is my worst science subject; because of it I don't study Sciences... Which is a pity, because Biology and Chemistry are two of my best subjects. Maths is also a problem, but at intervals, I'm very good at it, so I didn't list it here. It would probably be a disaster if I studied Sciences.

Operas can be nice, but most are way too booooooring. The best are Wagners Ring and Mozarts Zauberflöte... Almost all the others suck beyond belief... And I never met women younger than 55 who actually enjoyed them. The very vast majority of musicals suck; actually, they are suited to daft teenage women and children only.

You really ran out of things to say, didn't you?
How about Jostein Gaarder's books for instance? Please tell me they don't have any literary value either. Or, if you prefer lighter literature (you mentioned Catch 22), how about Terry Pratchett? Arthur Clarke wrote a great deal of books in the last 40 years too. Boris Akunin's books are great, just like Neil Gaiman's, and scores of others. All of them were quite active in the last 40 years

I haven't read anything by Joseph Gaarder. I might have to look into it. Catch-22 may be light, but it has much philosophical content, unlike Terry Pratchett's books. As for the others, no.
