Haha yeah that's what I gathered from the posts in LOE already. It's really mostly about rushing, isn't it?

And be sure your oponent doesn't use necropolis/conflux. they are often "forbidden" and is way too strong in multiplayer... my opinion

It's more about:
Use your power to your full potential. Use more than 1 hero, use more than 1 stack of units, use the brainless AI to your advantage. Only do things which are worth the way, coz speed is so important. Never underestimate the strength of your own troops.
It's a great experience to see (and learn) how much potential u missed while playing offline vs comp. Everyone has made that kind of experienc. And when u've gathered your new knowledge, go back and play some of your maps / campaigns again. You will recognize the difference pretty fast. Believe me..

Angels is the sign of love.
When you see an angel you see hope from a hopeful light from the beams of love.
It's energising, it's refreshing, it's rejuvanating.
You feel so complete it is like completing a task & you feel so great that you feel the love deep withing the soul of the depth of your heart.

Hello, where do i go to set up a Game with some1 here in the forums? I'm keen on trying out a game. I've just completed the Homm3 Complete game and now find everything quite boring as there isn't a storyline to drive me anymore.. Thx

Hello, welcome to Heroes Community.
You might like to try asking for a game in the Library of Enlightenment, and someone may tell you where to go from there.
Anyway, enjoy yourself here and have fun

Newcomer here
Hi, I'm Deb and since Heroes in it's various incarations is the only PC Game I've ever had time for.......with the possible exception of Civilization I should fit in well here. But I'm not used to forums at all so I might need some advise. I'm more used to email lists, I'm afraid.

Then all I want is the info or whatever it will take to let me play a saveable mutiplayer game with my daughter over ubi.com. We've been having no end of problem with that and that's why I bought two full copies....with expansion packs! Sheesh!

Newbie
Hi,
After a brief spell with HeroesIII which is the only PC game I've really played and got really hooked on, I'm now back to playing it with the 'complete' edition.
I really love the game, but I keep getting killed off fairly early on no matter which map I choose. No matter how I build my troops I either bump into a stronger force or run out of time!
Is there a 'beginner section' where I can print off some 'tips and tricks'? Is using Auto combat a really bad idea for a beginner?
Regards,
Waywyrd.

Using Auto Combat
I NEVER use auto combat unless I realize I'm gonna lose anyway and can't get out of it.
The best bet I've found is to keep your ranged fighters behind your close combat troops and keep raining on them with the ranged attacks as the opponent army moves across the battle field. Try to get you ranged troops guarded on ALL sides so even when your opponent gets to you they are protected and can do thier best damage while your close combat forces fight face to face doing THIER best damage.
Hope this helps!
Deb Terry
