The Magi are the inhabitants of the town. They animate the Gargoyles and Golem and summon the Djinn and Rakshasa and apparantly use a combination of summoning and animation to create the Colossi and Titans. To quote the creature descriptions:

"Colossi are the most powerful creatures that can be built or summoned by the Wizards. They are created using the same basic method as golems, but on a much larger scale. Each Colossus also hosts a figment of the soul of his creator."

"Titans are the greatest accomplishment a Wizard can dream to achieve."

The backstory mentions the Barbarians and Dwarfs. I expect them to be in the expansion, in addition to perhaps one more "mystery faction that nobody would expect."

I'd rather not try to predict what the creature trees will be. I prefer to be surprised.

I'd like to see a Barbarian/Stronghold town with the following creatures

Level 1: Goblins
Level 2: Centaurs
Level 3: Orcs
Level 4: Ogre
Level 5: Roc
Level 6: Cyclops
Level 7: Behometh

That would be perfect IMO.

Dwarves would have to be neutral creatures, as would Efreeti. we can't have an entire town full of dwarves, honestly that would be extremly gay.

I would hope that the swamp or Barbarian town would come into the Heroes V expansion pack. Swamp was personally my favourite in  Heroes III and i am really looking forward to it if it comes back. the thing is, who would know if they would add any new, unkown creatures, but i would really be looking forward to seeing some Basilisks back into the Heroes games.

I hope that Ubi will add Dwarves. Maybe their units won't be that exciting but there's a lot of interesting and exciting Norse mythology out there to make the Dwarven race one of the most interesting!

No more gay than an entire town full of humans/ elves/ demons/ undead/ constructs and summons... every town has a bunch of units of it's own race. I mean, what kind of sense would it make when the only elven unit Sylvan had would be the Hunter? Or that the only human unit of Haven would be the Footman? I think Haven exaggerates this a bit with 5 of the 7 units being human and angels basically being uber humans with wings, but I don't see anything wrong with the 3 elven units Sylvan has for example.

I think stronghold should be back...not any naga or dwarfs not even orcs it destroy whole balance...like:

Heavens enemy -> Inferno here should be Orcs couse Orcs are also enemy of humans, and whole Heaven creatures are specialy made to destroy Inferno like Archdevil has HIGH damege but Archangel can heal those killed by Archdevil. Bad idea!!

Sylvan enemy -> Dungeon (dark elves) here should be Dwarfs as new race and they would be enemy of Sylvan and Dungen and then Dungeon and Sylvan could stand together!! That would be bad!!

And as somebody up there said Naga is bull****!!

It'l be boring to have Nagathis, Nagathat its boring, and barbarians are great!! And in WoG Stronghold was sooooo good!!

And Fortres is very weak but they look cool tough.

Sylvan i somthink lke Rampart and i like most Sylvan and Dungeon i also like inferno couse of Cerberuses and Succubi and Pit Lords, but all in all balance would be destroyed by adding totaly new races like dwarfs and i think there in any HOMM series should ot be mechanical races thats why i like more Grove town that Forge!!

Sorry to say, but that is the worst collection of bad arguments I've seen for a long time. But of course, we all can wish for what we want, buit let's face it, this is a new game, there are new developers, and they have chosen their path. They are likely to stick to that track, like it or not, and since very few actually complain about the existing factions, it seems kinda pointless to say that it'll be this or that boring if they make the new towns in the same way.

I am joust saying that HOMM series were great cous there is no orcs and dwarfs like in all other games!!
In evry game Orcs, Elves, Dwrfs atc. Its kinda boring!
And personaly Orcs and Elves and Dwarves should be in RPGs not in  turn-based strategies like HOMM 5!!
I think Stronghold should have some new creatures evry town should but i dont want to kick good town joust couse of new idea!! As far as i know Orcs were never in HOMM (altough i did not played much 1 and 2) and Naga lol it would be boring have alot of tailed archers mage "junk"!
And as i said Dwarves are tooo much technologicaly race so in Dwarf town you yould have soo much robots and machines i joust think it would not be the same game. And i dont complain about exsisting factions lol in the matter of fact i love them!! But they did not said on any forum there will be Dwarves or Orcs and i think they should not be!

I forgot about Cyclops. How they could gave up this unit.

I agree with that, for the most part, though I like the Haven.  I think for that particular town it fits.  It's like having a traditional medieval army with some xtra-cool stuff thrown in (angels and griffins).  But having a whole town of just orcs or nagas or whatever would be boring, I agree.  The only thing is I always felt like orcs, ogres, and goblins were kinda similar.  they're all greenish anyway

I think we'll get two new factions, and some form of the stronghold will probably be one of them.  I miss those barbarians!  

I think a Viking-like society would be badass...I don't know if that could be integrated with the stronghold (sorta how the Academy seems to have a bit of Indian influence?) or if it would be its own thing, but it'd be cool.

Well i think best would be like Stronghold with some additon of orcs but yes there must be somthing like Rocs And Behemoths!!

I believe the town will be barbarian like...stronghold. Remember the Heroes 4 berserkers... how about them beeing shorter and with more armor on...dwarves!yey. I hope at a new kind of stronghold since the desert theme has been used for the academy. Probably the 2 town switched look so that we will meet a winter town with the stronghold. or so i hope
The other towen is the Fortress and im thinking nagas...actually a naga swimming like a snake through swamps, searching for prey is kind of cool so il go with that. The other units..well i do miss those annoing serpent flies with huge speed, and those gorgons...and the serpents...
Class specific abilities...
Stronghold..Offense: the counterpart of the Heaven skill Counterstrike...i cant think of anything better
Fortress: Swamp=Poison. a skill that adds poison damage to your units...kind of like the demon ability

It might be foolish(and a bit cheap) as an idea but perhaps there is a chance that the Faceless didn't perish but went into hiding until they regained their strength or were banished somehow.I've seen them mentioned here and there but don't seem to have played some important role apart from being a part of Ashan history.If they appeared as a faction it would spice things up and open many possibilities since we know nothing of their forms/powers/agendas.Could create an upheaval in alliances and offer us a fresh interesting town don't you think?Though a fiery(or even snow)/dwarf theme or aquatic/naga would do.If intoduced it would be better that all other factions have been properly highlighted of course.Any comments welcome.
