I don't see why people can't come up with their own town idea without twisting another game into Heroes.
Though some of the creature sprites in here are pretty cool.

what do you think about the artifact Soul shard?it would be used to enhance creatures,like warlords banners do

If u have..30 centaurs and 46 of those...u may use 30 resources for 30 centaurs and turn them into Centaur captain and u'll have left 16 resources....i mean...u can upgrade them
