Greetings old friends!!
after long time i fell over community here and been reading some old threads.
what can i say... Miss the times of "zone"... the flaming... the game (homm3 offc.) and offc. miss all old friends!

i just started the eve trial, day 1 made 1 mil isk and bought a destroyer, Rus stop mining with ya pod !!

another thing...when i occasionally made a map and someone was kind enough to play on it i said "thank you for helping me test the map" not "man i really kicked your ass that time"

aoe3 +xpac's online, rts game is great strategy game, not just click n shot b4 some1 flames me :0
mtgo - trading card game online, some of old h3 players there, destro warbringer etc
trying eve trinity atm, but much slower game, duno if ima stick with this one.
dun play h3, to many silly rules, to many ppl trying to play game in a way that was neverment to be played, gamespy all ppl play is jebus lol. no 1 will play a set map EVER, and i think its been like 4-5 years since any1 played an OPEN set map. h3 was never meant to b a game where u hide behind walls for 4-5 weeks, make stupid stats, then have 1 end fight lol. best games i ever had was on maps like battle for honor and battle royal etc, skirmishing and map control rules ;p
ps, that hit n run thread is good reading btw

I dont think it was ever brought up before but I belive the rules started changing when that tournament came up.
Cant remember the name but it was the one Issac & Tammy opened up that Debs ran later.
Not to mention we got tired of being cheaped but i think it really got bad when a less cutthroat tourney came into the picture.
Still fun but the old days were better when you just play the game the way it was made.
Those were the days & then we get old lol.

try 2sm4d(3) template, it''s very popular in Russia. Meeting can be even on week1-2, however normally ppl do not rush and wait for week3

lol i been playing this game like 8 yrs, 2sm4d temps r from original 3do generator. of course i tried it
the only standing rule, infact not even a rule, more a understanding, was that if it was wk 1 meet on any format, then restart game.

Its good to read from all of you.
Aculias... I never tried HV until now so wether I like it or not remains to be seen ! I'm wondering if a game that requires a .2 gig patch can be any good ? And about my temper... it never was triggered by a defeat but rather by people who greatly disapointed me. Anyways I'd rather have you point me to a HOMMV monster chart than discussing things from 4 years ago ! Where is the gathering of H5 players held ? Gamespy ?

I wouldnt know, i never played the game.
As far as i know, you go to a heroes 5 room.
Key card in the game you buy.
It probally changed by now.
Plus i think the past is long gone Frank.
Regardless of why you humoured us with you fits, it's the past.
I dont even know anything about the game.

Btw TOTE the latest expansion of HOMM5 is really good - The game just about as good as h3 used to be , Nice new game and pretty good balance on most parts..

lol. text files were revised too of course. however TE (Tournament Edition) uses powerful ERM-engine, it is compilation of hard work of 20-30 people during last 6 years. Last TE version (1.03q) was made under close supervision of best online players. Most sod bugs were fixed, game is more balanced and more interesting now. Brief info is available here

TE is ASBOLUTELY not WOG TE only uses engine (ERM-language) from WOG. There are no stupid creatures or commanders in TE.

Im back to playing chess with people i know in the real world and tearing up my bathroom.
Still play diablo2 a little...god thats a mindless game.
I recently swapped hard drives and my h3 disk wont even install anymore as appears to have seen too much use over the years..was a good value though.
