u forgot how hard creeping with orcs is
u almost always get casualities from every battle
yes, cyclops are very hard to kill, but the other units are very weak, after the first blow they dont have blood rage, consider they are dead afterwards

It's not if you know how to creep. Only losses I get are against ranged/caster units and fast melee.

yes mate, but consider, that half of units in game are ranged+fast melees
and if u get many of them around u at the start, its very hard to do anything

How do you know which spell connection has for fortress?

I've played quite a few games single and multi and this is rarely the case. Yesterday I won 19 furies on week 1 with no losses, fast units can still be tackled efficiently but a bit of bad luck and there you go some centaurs/goblins. Traps seem a necessity in the beginning.

To think statistically check tier 1 units. Ok I'll avoid sprites, assassins, upg gremlins and skeleton archers out of 21 units.
Tier 2: Haven's archers and fortress's spearwielders, centaurs - upgrades included. Fast units as wind dancers and furies can be risky but that's also true for the other factions.

I think that's pretty good.

Just another question. Why do I still see UNUPDATED creature icons on AoH? Look at those vampire pics, the spectre..to name a couple..they still have the beta avatars
Could some of you guys up in the top fix these?

Example

The Sceptre..at least in the upper part of the page with the 3 rows of 7 creatures, still have red eyes.
The vampire and vampire lord are still green in face and plenty red and grim

About the "defend" command -
Isn't it suppose to gain defense anytime you use this command, until you move?

Ok - but the unit don't get more than 30% defense if it uses the defense command in routine - am I right?

It does not stack: the bonus lasts until your next action. So if you defend again, you still get the same 30% bonus replacing the old one.

Can someone finish mission 5 of undeads C., its buggy, and I can't finish it...

someone have save when he is after the blue garrison? (with the ghost of the knight), I can't pass it its bug and I cant move when I reach it...

It's about "Mark of the wizard" ability -

I know when i use eldrich arrow on one of the enemy units, while another enemy unit is marked already, it damage both of them.

Are there other spells beside the eldrich arrow, that do the same action?

there are a lot more spells u can cast with mark of the wizard, basically any single target spell can usefully sum it up......
ice bolt, lightning bolt, fist of wrath, slow, haste, implosion....
u get the point...AoE spells do not hit 2 different units and do not double effect if casted on the unit marked.  also - while casting on a unit not marked, this will use double mana as well(same as casting 2 separate times)

why is there barely any people listed in the multiplayer channels?
normally this is what the list looks like real quick

duel rank 1- 10 ppl
duel rank 2- 4  ppl
duel practice-  0
standard 1- 8 ppl
standard 2- 10 ppl
standard practice- 20 ppl (basically not many ppl online ever)

isnt ubi.com multi supposed to like connect all of us, i know u dont see games already in session but still wtf :s?

unless my assumption of how many ppl have internet connection to play is way off....wtf lol?

why there barely anyone ever on at one time?

Because we all play on hamachi.  Take a look at TOH (tournament of honor) which you can get to through the main age of heroes page.  There's also a forum.

I never have a problem finding a game now that I figured out I have to be online in my morning.
