Sigh, but in the other examples the creatures are constructed from the material of their name.  Again I ask is it made of magnets?

Magnets always draw anything that's magnetic. Since the Alt Golem upgrade draws on Destructive magic, this should've been a no brainer.

Actually it's not a no brainer if you look at the "magnetic" as an metaphor for what it does. As you said a magnet draws on anything magnetic. The new golem will draw on destructive magic. So i'm actually ok with it.

In case you were wondering how orcs fare vs academy

Anyway, you have to keep in mind that the Shatter skills are completely useless to get for creeping, so it's a skill you cannot afford to get early, if anytime at all. Having ONE shatter skill will be more than enough of a burden for the rest of the game (since you have to put as many levels in it to develop it's full potential as with a magic skill).
So you CAN rather hamper a magic skill, but you pay a high price for it. Remember - the pressure is on the Barbarians - the Wizard will learn AT LEAST two magic skills.

I had feeling it would be similar to this.

We knew that they would have low stats, but that guy make it sounds like they have none - And he makes them sound weak. I thought that the wyvern was the one to reach the foes in 1 turn.. But seems notī..

And you can choose 2 kinds of shatter magic? And ofcourse a clever player would choose Shatter Summoning magic - since Academy seems to love that... And ofcourse the clever Academy player would go for something non-summoning...

More or less what I thought Even if not, academy can get 2-3 magic schools, I challenge them to block em all. Maybe destructive seems a bit off with might over magic's effect but there are still the elemental gargoyles and elemental arties. Besides how powerful can a basic ability be?

IT whas mentioned that they will be special building that gives some rage bonus at the start of the batlle.It was also mentioned,that if u have 4 of these buildings the units will start in the battle eith level 1 battle rage,so that means ,that this building will give 50 rp

Is that confirmed or just a rumor?
If that's the case, the orcs could have a (pretty sharp) edge in final battles, though on the other hand your opponent could surprise you with taking unusual magic schools.
However, creeping without any magic is probably not very easy and taking shatter skills means taking less combat skills. Then again we don't know much about the battle cries...

Can't help finding it a bit ironic that some of these Shatter Skills would be a lot more helpful for several other classes than the actual Magic Skill itself.
