Haven:

Peasant > Pikeman = Better Defense
Archer > Longbowman = Archers stats whit Double Shot ability
Footman > Crusader = Two Swords whit double strike and hopefully more initiative/speed
Griffin > Royal Griffin = No armor or dive. Whiter than normal and faster
Priest > Zealot = Diffrent light magic spells. Just little higher damage
Cavalier > Crusader = (If not lv3 it must be lv6!) More armored horses. More Def, Less Speed
Angel > Seraph = No Resurrection. Word of Ligh spell


Necropolis:

Skeleton > Skeleton Warrior = Better Att,Def,Speed than Skellie Archers
Zombie > Mutant Zombie = Poison Attack and increased health
Ghost > Phantom = No more Incorporeal but has mind control over enemies and can cast Confusion
Vampire > Nosferatu = No Sword anymore. Better Att/Damage/Initiative than Lords but weaker in Def/Hitpoints
Lich > Chaos Lich = A bit weaker than Archlich but has Raise Dead spell
Wight > Reaper = Death Gaze! Decreased stats in ToE and whit ability to kill 0.1 creatures per Reaper
Bone Dragon > Ghost Dragon = No Incorporeal ability but Cursing attack is changed for -1 morale penalty and for better speed


Academy:

Gremlin > Battle Gremlin = No repair or high initiative but increased Att,Damage,Health. Why not Critters?
Stone Gargoyle > Earth Gargoyle = Earth and Lightning immunity
Iron Golem > Gold Golem = Mutch more expensive. 85% Magic Proof. Even more tougher
Mage > Battle Mage = Increased damage or more destructive spells. Less mana and health
Djinn > Djinn Master = Uses random level 1-3 destructive spells instead of Dark magics.
Rakshasa Rani > Zakya Rakshasa = Six handet, attacks all adjancent enemies. Lower damage. It should be Nagasha tough
Colossus > Giant = No range ability. Little more health and speed.


Fortress:

Defender > Protector = Lower damage and health than Shieldguard but has Shield Allies ability instead of Shield Wall
Spearwielder > Spear Hunter = No melee penalty is replaced whit new Hunter ability. Morale bonus after each stack destroyed
Bear Rider > Bear Raider = Lower Def and Health than Blacks but has more speed and attack
Brawler > Kamikaze = Better damage but even worse health
Rune Priest > White Priest = Similiar statics as Patriarchs but has new Light magic spells
Thane > Stormlord = Increased damage/attack. Has fewer health than Warlord
Fire Dragon > Lava Dragon = Somewhere between Fire and Magma Dragon. Lower stats and cheaper cost. Perhaps +1 initiative


Dungeon:

Scout > Rogue = No range ability. No enemy retalation. Little more damage and speed.
Blood Maiden > Blood Elf = More defense/health less initiative
Minotaur > Minotaur King = No double attack but increased defense, damage and initiative
Dark Raider > Dark Champion = Higher attack rating and no lizard bite
Hydra > Chaos Hydra = Stats little more offensive way than Deep Hydras
Shadow Witch > Black Witch = Whip Strike is changed for Imbue Shot whit Slow and Weakness spell
Shadow Dragon > Red Dragon = Slightly weaker than Black Dragon and Fire immunity instead of Magical


Inferno:

Imp > Dark Imp = Steals mana for himself. Has Fire Ball spell but dosen't have any mana points at start
Horned Demon > Demon Warrior = No more Explosion ability but has more health and attack
Hell Hound > Demon Hound = Big static increases but looses three head attack
Succubus > Magog = Male version. Dosen't have Chain Shot but by far greater damage
Hell Charger > Hell Steed = Fright Aura changed to Rider Charge
Pit Fiend > Pit Demon = Less mana and more initiative
Devil > Lucifer = Not as brutal as Devil but can also summon Pit Lords from a spell:

Lets try a necro line up. Thoughest one, i must say...

Skeleton - Skeleton Warrior - Freezing hatchet(slows enemy)

Zombie - Frozen Zombie - Frozen body(slows enemy when attacked) +3 more health and 1 in def

Ghost - Banshee - I quote the dictionary: A Ghost whom Scream is a sign of death. No mana, A incorporeal that easier to hit, 6 speed, a litte more health and a curse that in increase Dmg done to The foe

Vampire - Vampire Knight(from Dark Messiah) . It's an amoured Vampire with Shield and Sword . No teleport, Attack twice and harder to take down (It can not steal life because of no human contact, because of armour.. They are stupid in a way, but best way to balance them?)

Lich - Ice Lich(stolen from page 11 idea) - No deathcloud but freezing att. (same as Zombie and skeleton) can cast ice bolt and Circle of winter , 16 mana.

Wight - Reaper - Freezing Touch(makes the enemy lose a turn) 10 more health and -1 Att.

Bone Dragon - Ghost Dragon - Just like in old times. -1 moral to enemy creatures, 20% chance to age people (halve Hp of all stack members) ... Just like in the old days...

Edit: Changed a couple of creatures into Ice idea, which was mentioned later in this topic (page 11)

Thane-> Mountain Frenzier- Powerfull creature dealing huge damage with two hammer-axes; double attack and no enemy retailation abilities; but without teleportation and storm strike.

Alternate Fortress Upgrades.
1. Defender –> Offender: a dwarf that unleashes multiple racial slurs per combat and causes other creatures to become enraged. Recruited from Westborough Baptist Church. Very low growth
2. Spearwielder –> Beerwielder: A drunken dwarf that is trained in the ways of the mead. Special Ability is during a seige this creature can load a keg into the catapult, thus disorienting all creatures hit by it (including for once the undead)
3. Bear Rider –> Polar Bear: as soon as the dwarf tried to ride on a polar bear it was eaten. Does +100 damage for every seal it has eaten on the way to attacking the enemy.
4. Brawler –> Anger Brawler: Nival wanted to make a name for an enraged viking/dwarf brawler but since Berserker was already taken they unfortunately went the Treant route once again.
5. Rune Priest –> Rune Agnostic: Debates whether or not he believes runes exist, thus causing enemies to become confused.
6. Thane –> Titanic Dwarf: Is the only Xtra large creature in the game *Taking 8 hexes*(I owe this the inspiration for this idea: [url]http://www.celestialheavens.com/features/comics/beingcranky4.jpg[/url])
7. Fire Dragon –> Petroleum Dragon: can also be lit on fire but far more expensive than fire dragon.

Dark imp, to make that balanced it should only be abel to cast fireball once, else i would hate it - Its rather overpowered, and maybe call it fire imp ..

How did the Succubus become male? Hn? COnfused

How many Pit lords are talking about ? 1-5 or 5-10 ? how much mana ? Hmm...

But you really got good ideas for these guys ...

Well you need to steal enemy heroes or spell casters mana before you can use Fire Ball spell. (Btw you need 40 Dark Imps to cast 1 Fire Ball. Fire Imp is not bad name either)

1 Summoned Pit Lord per Lucifer. Devils can summon x2 but thats only from dead stack.

-Why's that? Not that I wanna be a smartass, but they even changed the genders of the Rakshasa Rani-> Raja upgrade in H5. It is not impossible, tho I'd hate the idea. I just love the Succubus Mistresses when I'm playing Inferno.
- I don't wanna get male (ghey/transvestite/crossdresser) Succubi. Females FTW.

i hope they will do sth with djinies.Alternative should be much more useful.
2 way
- Fighter - more HP (60 ), no spells but has sth like arcane shield -reduce 25% damage (also from spells) and a little bit more def
-Mage - the same amount of HP but with spellbook.Icebolt(adv), decay(adv),circle of winter,confusion(adv) -20 mana

just my 2 cents

Can be same Hp but No enemy Reatilation, or at least Paw Strike would be great solution, Imho...

New Dungeon Alternative upgrades and it seems that i've gotten some things that were on my wish list the scouts new upgrade doesn't have a ranged attack but does have invisibility plus the Hydras have some kind of poisonous thing called acid blood
