watch some automatches and you will see a variety of tactics using nearly all units.
spammers lack the strategy to build a healthy fighting force so they just build a lot of one unit. much simpler for their tiny brains.
i've defeated mass preds mass avatars, mass tripods, mass pac's
and on starcraft... they completely redefined the rush technique.
win it or lose it

3 hives are not mass zerglings. At least 7-8 hatcheries (you don't bulid more than one hive, do you  ?), or your little doggies won't even reach the enemy, especially walled terran. But once they're there ...

Just remember to put a few ultras in the mix to absorb fire.
Maybe a defiler or two too if they have lots of bunkers.

OMG you all fail at Xel'Naga history.
The Xel'Naga helped the Protoss evolve etc. like said before, but the Protoss argued among them selves too much, civil war and what not, so the Xel'Naga designed the Zerg to have one united mind.
As for Zerg policies to Protoss, the Overmind wanted to assimilate the Protoss (like they assimilate other races). Presumably Kerrigan wants to do this now.
As for the Xel'Naga in SC2, they left behind a bunch of artifacts somehow linked to destruction, although I'm not sure if they want to kill everything, or just the Terrans.
The Pre order pre release is set to ship 12/3/08, and I think that the release is set for 12/31/08, but blizzard likes to say "We'll release it when its done"

There was something about Duran being the Xel Nagas spy or something and that theres a plan Xel Naga have to merge Protoss form and Zerg essence to create the Hybrid race. i guess they will use this race to take control of the galaxy....I guess.

No its not just guessing, well its some guesses but its based on at least a very popular theory. I may be very wrong on that the Xel Naga may want to take over the milky way galaxy, BUT! The Protoss and the Zerg were failed experiments to create the ultimate race. Now I think they return to morph them into one ultimate race IMHO, the secret mission in Brood War gives you some clues, and Duran was the disguised Xel Naga agent behind the experiments on that ice moon.

This game looks great and as usual those frozen basterds will release it when it is done...
Hmm well some people are probably ticked when games get delayed so this could be a good or bad thing.
I also read the basic plotline and it is real nice.
Humanity caught up in a war and then aliens start a fight with humanity in the middle .
Kinda GOLEM-ish nature for the zerg though.

it's nothing bad but the zerg ended up destroying the xel-naga... kinda like golem. the golem will always destroy it's master.
nothing cliched but nice to see some familiar tidbit's
I also played the demo and i have to say the game is amazing.
Can't wait for starcraft II. STarcraft DEMo was fun with some of it's flaws (not so current graphics,12 units controlled at a time,5 unit build que,demo)
