I was just thinking, the texture artists still have all their textures, so that means less work, anyway I was really interested in this project, so let's hope it'll return.

I have an idea for the hero:
1.take the dungeon warlock
2.give him a crown of fire
3.make his eyes glow
4.instead of dinosaur,make his ride lava dinosaur
5.some kind armor of magma elemelal fire
6.make the wand gold[shiniy ],with a crystal a top of it
7.u,and wand is searded by flames

Should he not be a mix of all 6 elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Shadow, Light) instead of just Fire?

Hmm,you're,but my version is good,how about the wand wiil be suronded bywater fire and rocs,and the crown must by gold with 6 glowing stone for every element

I think a new neutral creature should be added: Faerie Dragon, like dragon from homm4 it knows confusion,fire ring,fireball,and lightning bolt
Abilities: Magic mirror,caster,spellbook,no retaliation,exploding death*
*when creature dies,all creatures in a 3x3 area are injured,20-2000 depending on how many you have

Then again,i only have heroes 3,armageddons blsde,and heroes 4,ive played heroes 2,and had it for a while,1 and 5 i havent played b4...
