What if Elvin was female?

Problem Child bends down to avoid the flying pieces of wood. He then shouts at Liarron:
"Hey! What did that tree ever do to you, man? How would you feel if somebody exploded you from inside, huh?! It's because of people like you that your time is made of plastic and steel and not trees and flowers!... Nature hater!!!"
As he calms down he looks at the mess made by the explosion.
"Well, at least let's make sure this poor tree didn't die in vain and use it for fire wood."
He goes off collecting firewood and starts humming a soft tune to himself that soon enough turns into words:
"Rain, rain, rain in my tears
Measuring carefully my years
Shame, shame, shame in my mind
See what you've done to my life"
Suddenly, the sky darkens and it begins to rain. Luckily for the group, the rain is soft and gentle just the song Problem Child was singing. Bear, who was helping collecting firewood, looks up to the sky and remarks:
"That's an interesting coincidence..."
Then he looks back at Problem Child and drops all his wood out of surprise. The time traveller is spinning around searching his pockets muttering "where is it, where is it, where is it...". He then takes off his jacket, turns it upside down and starts shaking it. When he sees that nothing falls out, he drops the jacket, drops down on the ground, hides his face in his hands and weeps hysterically all the while saying: "It can't be, it's not happening, it's not real, it can't be real, it never happens, it didn't happen, it could not have happened..."

A soft female voice can be heard by Problem Child. "Shhh, it's ok. What didn't happen?" It is Rose (who almost never leave's Bear's side). Her voice is healthier then it has ever been, and she is speaking above a whisper, which is unusual. There is no doubt it is her voice, however.

Problem Child glances at Rose and jumps away. His eyes reflect a mix of hysteria and fear.
"Stay away from! All of you, don't come close to me! I'm dangerous!! I... I... I will destroy us all... without my microphone, I'm uncontrollable... Destruction, all that destruction, it will happen again, hundreds... no, thousands of deaths... not again... can't happen again... must not happen again..."
Problem Child's eyes look like the eyes of a wild animal. He backs off from the group until he hits a tree with his back. Then he just extends his arms forward, mumbling more to himself than the others:
"Death, destruction, disasters... every line is dangerous... every word is dangerous... every sound... sound... killer sound... out of control... not again..."

Now that he can see Rose, she looks different. Taller, healthier, more..alive. She even seems a bit older. "You bring a gentle rain, and you talk about destruction. Yes, this light rain is hazardous and deadly." she smiles to let him know she is not serious.
Her movements is more floating then walking, but she approaches him nonetheless. "Fear not. Together we can overcome this problem. I know you are one of mother earths favorites, she has told me. Let us guide you in this time. There is nothing we can not do, together." She touches a spot next to Problem Child and flowers spring up. Then giggling she touches another and a Cannibus plant grows instantly, and it is rather large. "Come, calm yourself. We will find a solution."

"Don't be long Stargazer and keep in touch. I will be on the lookout if you try to contact me mentally."
A few minutes later Mindreaver is feeling different. His perception of nearby environment is sharper, he can feel their motions, temperature, mass acutely without even looking at them. It's like he is more attuned to his senses which is admittedly unsettling yet satisfying in a whole new level. And then there are the voices, a jumbled cacophony of noises, stray thoughts swirling in his mind. Better to block them out for now but the illusionist believes he could listen to them clearly if he tried to focus on each individually. He sits a bit down to clear his head, that was a weird situation but he knows it's only a matter of time until he gains full control.
Suddenly a sharp splinter comes flying to his face and is stopped midflight. He is more surprised that he could freeze it before even understanding what happened. He rotates it slowly in the air for a bit and absently throws it back where it came from. Intriguing.
Seeing Problem Child's distress, Mindreaver goes to check on him.
"I'd listen to Rose if I were you. Just be a little more careful with the powerful ones and you should be fine. Also.. I can sense your powers have grown. You may find that you still have adequate control but try not to overdo it just in case." The illusionist smiles.

Purrrfect slides up to Mindreaver. "Interesting tactic. Sending the one non-active power person into a potentially hostile environment without backup. Hmmm, perhaps you wanted to spend some," she pauses, "alone time with me?" she grins. Which would be much more interesting if it didn't reveal rather sharp teeth.

Problem Child looks at Rose and then at the Cannibus plant. It is unknown which of these 2 sights calmed him, but the result was visible to all. His eyes focused, his breath slowed down to a normal rate and his mumblings ceased. The time traveller closed his eyes and sighed a deep sigh. Then he opened his eyes and sat down leaning against a tree, he felt mentally exhausted from the stress. He raised his gaze and saw Rose's kind, smiling eyes. Suddenly, he remembered how Rose turned into Thorn and how he had to calm her down with his songs. If she could get back control of her body so could he. He smiled at her:
"Thank you. You are probably right. However, my state is more dangerous than you think. Without my microphone to deactivate my powers, one wrong word could end with a true disaster. Some of you may have seen my dark side take control of my body, causing earthquakes, meltdowns and other types of destruction. Well, that was nothing compared to what he'll do, if he'll get out now, with nothing to supress him. That is why it is very important that I remain calm all the time", He stands up and picks his leather jacket from the ground." Pity that my weed making machine is gone as well. It would've made things much easier. For now I think I better stay close to Rose... just in case."
The music master looks to the skies and notices that the rain has stopped and the sun is coming out of the clouds. He then finds a warm and soft spot in the grass and lies down.
"I need to rest and calm my nerves now. Wake me up when it's time to go."

Malice dropped on her knees as they reached the changed Earth. She held her head tight as if she was trying to hold something back. Steam’s unexpected loss still surprises her. Everything happened so fast and she nearly had a hint of it coming. She did not expect that the young man’s life would end that soon. And she weeps for him not as a friend or as a partner but as a CoED co-member. Sure, Steam’s death is a big loss to CoED, but with the looks of this current place, CoED’s existence is doubtful. But Steam’s death or CoED’s cynical existence in the place is just bits of the whole sorrow she’s been experiencing - her gundam that’s all she’s weeping about.
“First… Steam…” she whispered, then she stood up, “and now my GUNDAM!” Malice screamed as she rushed towards a big tree nearby.
Impulse had taken over her again. She gritted her teeth, clenched her right fist and punched it directly with all her strength. But that doesn’t satisfy her. Anger still lingers on her. The loss of her gundam is unacceptable. She loved it more than anything – the joys of driving it and passion of killing with it made her life complete. Her blood raged again, this time Malice’s left fist slammed on the guiltless tree.
After seconds of pondering, mumbling and hard tree-punching her tired-looking eyes which nearly shed a tear slowly turn away from the tree, unaware of the wounds it gave her fists. She was looking for something or perhaps somebody. And from there, she had spotted Old Man. Malice dashed on his direction in fury not thinking of any consequences it might bring.
“You!” she cried, grabbing the old man’s collar, nearly pulling him up from his relaxing seat. “You did all of this! Better bring my gundam back or else…”
Her green eyes glistening with rage gazed at him strongly signifying a threat.

Ancient eyes stare through the young fool. What a selfish creature. Billions of lives have been lost and all she cares about is a stupid robot? Old Man's eyes shift from those of scorn to those of pity. After erasing countless lives from reality, he can't help but think the loss of an exosuit is quite trivial.
Old Man rises out of his chair to meet her frustrated gaze.
"Or else what?" he asks cooly. His voice seems younger; indeed, his entire appearance seems to change as he locks eyes with the pilot. No more does the elderly man stand before her, but a man who appears to be no older than twenty-five.
"I did 'this' because there was no other choice. If things had gone as they were, you're stupid toy would have been destroyed regardless. You saw the futility of that battle! There was no way anybody was going to defeat that armada without drastic action!" Irratated, he realizes the futility of trying to explain his actions to her. How could she ever understand?
He turns his back on her, letting her absorb the severity of the situation. As he approaches the make-shift camp, he overhears the one known as problem child going on about a microphone.
((You can swear you're right all you want Ceres, but I am vindicated.))

"Enough!" exclaims Bears voice loud enough to be heard. "Bickering like children, no...like brats! Here we are stuck god knows where, facing god knows what, and all we can do is bicker and blame. Well come on, lets have it. After all, if Ghost hadn't insisted we go after Brainchild, we wouldn't be here. Let's blame her."
He looks around as if challenging anybody to do any such thing. "Better yet, if Brainchild hadn't been captured, we wouldn't be here. Lets blame her." He faces everybody. "Or, instead of blaming, moping, acting pretentious, or arguing, we can FIX this. You all do whatever you want. I am going to go try to actually DO something." With that, he heads off into the woods, in the direction that Stargazer went.

Malice snapped a vile gaze upon Bear as he went away. All she wanted that time was to grab his head and twist his neck it until it breaks. But her reasoning gets the better of this time. She ignored the big man and instead she turned her wicked gape on Old Man.
“You,” she called, this time with a low subtle voice. “Looks like you know a thing or two about what happened here, better explain.”

The youthful looking Old Man ignores the demands of the pilot as he walks after the one named Bear. Discussing the complexities of reality, time, and the universe would be wasted on someone closed to rationality. Baskerville trots along in tow, nose glued to the ground, sniffing all the smells the new world has to offer.

Old Man’s act would normally fume Malice, but this time it was different. She ignored the guy like what she had done to Bear. The young lady just smirked on him and then sighed. It was odd, her raging attitude just stopped. Malice must have been tired. Her human capacity had failed her. She felt her hands trembling, indicating fatigue, and her eyes wanting to shut, asking for a sleep.
Malice looked around finding somebody who can better answer her questions but her feet do not desire to make another step. She then dropped down on a nearby tree and rested her back.
“Oh I guess I can’t do more for now,” she whispered to herself. “Snobbish people are indeed everywhere.”
She chuckled a bit for her word and never noticed that she was falling asleep.

Lumi, Varjo, and Darkblade, approx 3 miles from main group. Lumi starts growling low and seems to be anxious about something. The farther that the group travels in the same direction the more nervous the animal gets.
Within mere moments the foliage around starts showing evidence of spiderwebs. But rather large ones. About 50' farther in they become almost impassiable. 100' farther in it is so thick that it is doubtful that anybody or anything not a ghost could make it through. And right about at that point there are Cacoons (spelling?). About half a dozen of them, and one of them is still moving.

Varjo stops and raises his hand halting Darkblade and Lumi. He reaches out for Mindreaver:
"Mindreaver I know you can sense us. You were probing around earlier. I'm hoping you could open up a link to all the others. Can you do that? Okay."
Varjo's voice reaches all the others:
"Hi all. We are standing in front of something you all should know. I'm trying to send you the images through Mindreaver. I'll have to open some barriers in here to do it so some of my memories might jump up. Be warned some of my memories that may appear before I gain control again can be confusing."
With that Varjo opens up his mind and images start whirling:
It's a sunny summer day and a young boy can be seen fishing. When he turns his head you can see that the boys eyes are filled with joy.
Then another image appears where a dark-haired woman in white and a man in an uniform are standing on the altar. They kiss and turn around holding hands. There is a loving look in their eyes.
The image switches again. This time it's a blazing city. The sound of diving bombs and alarms mixed with screams and cries are everywhere. The smell of burning fleshs and chemicals fills the air as a man is running into an apartment house. He rushes the stairs and rips the door open shouting:
"We've got to go!".
Inside the apartment a woman with a small child at her side and an infant at her arms is standing at the doorway. Just then shouting and numerous steps starts coming from the base floor and with tears falling from her eyes the woman shouts:
"There's no time! You have no choice!"
A terrible pain in his voice the man shouts:
"No! There's got to be a way out of here!"
"There isn't and you know it!", the woman wipes tears off her eyes and takes a firm posture.
"I have my pride! And so do our daughters!"
Then the man kisses his both daughters at their foreheads, pulls out two knives and slits the throats of the two little girls.
"I love you!"
"I love you too!"
Then, with tears running down his cheeks, he reaches out to kiss the woman, pulls out a third knife and slits the womans throat while kissing her.
The images stop whirling and focus on the cocoons and the web Varjo and Darkblade are looking.
"I am sorry that you had to see that. What I hoped to show you was these. They are something worth considering. What do you all think?"

Meanwhile at a town to the north Stargazer sends out a message to Mindreaver also. "You are NOT going to believe this. I don't know exactly what is going on, but um either everybody is some sort of mutant or something weird is going on. The town's name is Nama, and even the children are ... throwing fireballs, making things levitate, and doing other unusual things. I am suspecting it is magic, but it would have to be as common as air.."
As the Old Man follows Bear, he quickly notices that Bear is not acting like himself. He is pushing through the forest as if possessed. When Bear comes to an obsticle, instead of going around he goes through it or throws it out of his way. Worse, as they travel Bear is looking a bit more and more like a true werebear. Something is deffinately happening. It's not like Bear to have a temper.

Mindreaver does get Varjo's signal and conveys the message silently. He feels deep sorrow over his troubled past but there is not much he could do about it - everyone has his inner demons.
"But no, better to block these thoughts to avoid the others seeing mine."
When the images settle down to the cocoons a feeling of dread runs down his spine. What kind of abominations could build so extensive webs? He always hated spiders, especially the gigantic ones and he had not even come face to face with something like this - the very thought pushed his repulsion to new levels. Then he sends a clear message.
"Get out of there, it is not safe. For all you know you may be surrounded already."
Then he receives Stargazer's news. What the heck is going on in this place..? Chaos reigns supreme that's for sure. If he wasn't confused by the whole situation he might have been surprised by Old Man changing shape, maybe he'll ask him later.
"I think that's enough, unless you want to learn more I'd like you to regroup and send a small commitee there. I'm not comfortable with the idea of you being alone and defenseless in a potentially hostile environment."

Liarron laughs as he hears Problem Child complaining about him destroying nature. He hardly cares about the guy’s opinions. Anyway, to him, it would be kind of a cool way to die, if done right. And, of course, it was nearing his natural time of death.
Liarron just continues picking up wooden piece he can see as being effective as weapons. As soon as there are no good ones left, or he runs out of places to put them, he collets some for a fire, should they need it, and returns to the remaining group members.
“Hmmm. Looks like the size of our little group has started to decrease. Oh well. I guess I’ll start the fire. Might get a little cold with this rain.”
Liarron sets up the wood, placing the excess to the side. He looks at one of the chunks of wood for a little bit, and then places his fingers in different locations upon it. He gives those points a quick charge, and removes his hand quickly. The points he chose to be charged react, and explode. The fire starts.

Bear ignores the recommendation to return. It doesn't take somebody who knows him to recognize something isn't right. His eyes have taken on a redish glow, and he is about one and half times his normal size. Even though he has shown great respect for nature, now he is tossing aside trees that get in his way. It is as if something is calling him, maybe even controlling him. Mindreaver looses contact with Bears mind.
Suddenly Rose looks around. "I..can't feel my brother. As long as he walks on the ground, I can always feel him. Something..is wrong."
