Mindreaver suddenly feels the link with Bear severed. He can't help but imagine a female voice telling him "host cannot be reached due to technical problems, please try again later".
But that's not something to be annoyed over, Bear practically stormed off in an unknown direction and definitely not being himself. He makes one last effort to penetrate his mind to incapacitate or otherwise catch a glimpse of what is happening.
"Wait for it, nobody storm after him for a moment."

Whoever or whatever is blocking Bears mind doesn't yet have complete control, so when you concentrate you peirce the barrier they had put up. The first image you see in his mind is a full moon that is colored a blood red. There is a figure in his mind, a male, with glowing red eyes. He is dressed in very odd clothing. ((Think midevil baron or duke clothing)).
There is the strong feeling that this image is to the north, probably the town where Stargazer is. You hear a voice. "Interesting. Your mind is strong, probably even stronger then mine. I doubt I will be able to keep you from freeing this one if you try. What is a werebeast doing with a psionic is my question. Come little psionic. Let us play. I think you will be interested in the prize if you win."
The image suddenly stops and you hear Rose say. "Wait, I am feeling him again. He is returning to us."
Stargazer connects to Mindreaver. "We might have a problem with me coming to you. It seems I am being placed under arrest. Don't have a clue what for."

Varjo raises the barrier blocking his memories back in place and once again pushes his past life into the back of his mind where it has resided for so long and where it shall reside for ages to come. Already two times had it been brought to surface during late times. This time he had been ready for it but if he hadn't...
...a shiver goes down his spine when he remembers what happened in the M.E.G.A.-camp and the pleasure it brought to let it out for so long. For a moment the feeling consumes him and he just cherishes it.
No! that couldn't happen again. He wouldn't let it. This time he had the might to stop it. Never again would he fall that down where he had been after the war. Never again.
He throws a quick look at Darkblade but there aren't any exterior signs that the visions had any effect. Varjo raises his hand, signs retreat and the three start heading back to the camp site through web covered vegetation. It's eeriely quit, not even a single bird. When they reach the edge of the webbing the whole forest seems to come alive, just like magic. Bird song fills the air like they had just been waiting all along. The group seems to relax and stops for a moment.
Darkblade starts:
"What do you think that was?"
"No idea. I'm quessing spiders, either very many or very big."
"What about those cocoons? One of them was still moving. They looked like there might be people inside."
"Not our problem. Mindreaver wanted us out of there."
"Fair enough."
Just then Varjo notices a slight change in Lumi's stance. He turns to Darkblade and whispers:
"Watch and learn."
Lumi and Varjo start moving quietly towards something ahead of them in the jungle. Darkblade doesn't yet quite grasp what they are after but follows them closely. After a while the two dash through the underbrush leaving Darkblade momentarily behind before she sprints after them.
As the vegetation clears before her she can see what the two are after: a herd of deer that were just a moment ago herding on the clearing are now in full flight with the two in close pursuit. Then Varjo sprints into full speed locking his eyes on a deer with a small fawn and flashes a wide smile. Now it's Lumi's time to get going. It easily accelerates into twice the speed Varjo's running going nearly 90 km/h. When it caches up with the deer it neatly cuts off its achilles tendon bringing it down and finishes it by biting through its throat. Varjo then cathces the fawn and breaks its neck.
When Darkblade arrives at the scene she can't help but to laugh at the two hunters.
"Couldn't resist, huh?"
"I figured we could make this trip useful. People have habit of getting hungry. I know I'm starving. We better get these to camp. Here.", Varjo throws the fawn to Darkblade and they start heading back to camp again.

Tracking the monstrous bear proves to be an easy challange for the nose of Baskerville. As timeless as his master, the dog has tracked millions of creatures throughout the eras. In all fairness, it's not very difficult to track a lumbering werebeast destroying everything in its path.
Old Man has encountered such creatures in the past and found Bear's attitude quite unusual. Werebear's tended to be one of the more docile lycantropes. They were very careful not to draw open attention, lest they be hunted like their wolf-kin. Something is certainly wrong with the brute, but what?
A small scanner chirps as it rises from dormancy. The screen's vibrant green backdrop displays thousands of ancient symbols. Whatever is wrong with Bear would soon be revealed. At least, it should have been. The lime screen begins to flicker erratically, before completely powering down. Old Man curses the device and throws it into a space pocket.
"Guess we'll have to investigate the matter the old-fashioned way." The duo continue following Bear, careful to keep a safe distance.

The monstorous beast begins to transform again, returning to more resemble the Bear that everybody knows. He looks around confused, not even sure of where he is. He has stopped by a sign, marking an entrance of a town. The sign reads "Nama", population 1091 (which is marked out) 1000.
A small note is attached to the sign.

Mindreaver waits for the two scouts to arrive before explaining the situation.
"There has been a complication. Bear was momentarily controlled by another psychic in the town Stargazer went. He wants to challenge me and has ensured my cooperation by kidnapping her. I don't think she means her harm, she's the bait but either way I cannot risk her any harm and have to go. Who will aid me? We can't all go and there must be some battle-ready guys to protect those that remain behind and have a failsafe plan if anything goes wrong. Well and cook that deer, I'm sure I'll be starving when I get back."
The illusionist winks. His calm exterior hides his anxiety but at the same time he wants to meet the challenge face to face.

Problem Child, who slept peacefully until now, is woken up by someone's gentle kick in the ribs. He stands up and stretches his limbs before looking at the group with sleepy eyes and saying:
"The stress must be really getting to me. I've had these strange dreams about giant spider-webs and some guy slaughtering his own family." He looks at Varjo who just came back from the forest and was putting the deer on the ground, "What's more, that guy sounded a lot like you. But the weirdest thing is - I clearly remember not getting high before I went to sleep. Weird stuff... What?"
After Mindreaver explained the situation to the party, Rose - quiet as always but as resilient as one could be, said that she's going with Mindreaver because she's worried about her brother. Problem Child looked at her and smiled:
"I remember saying something about stay close to Rose until I get my microphone back. So, that's the way it's gonna be. When do we leave?"

Liarron lies on the ground, near the fire, watching the leaves of the trees, and the sky above. He feels nice and relaxed, not caring about much else. He does, however listen as Mindreaver and the others start talking about the situation, and what they’re going to do about it. Liarron wouldn’t mind going, especially since he went through the trouble of getting some form of weapons, but there were two main reasons he didn’t want to. First, he guessed that Old Man would be there, and he didn’t even want to hear him complaining to the enemies about anything. Secondly, he was too comfortable.
“You all go on without me. I’ll be one of the ones that stay behind.”

North ((to alaska, the rush is on..ooops sorry, sts got me there)).
Group 1.
Mindreaver and crew march north until they find the town. It is suprisingly quiet, and the streets are clear. Seems you are expected. You see a group of people approaching, and something seems a bit out of place with them.
One appears to be very young version of Electra Soul (one of the people back in group A). However, it more looks like a son or some similar relitive then him. Even though he is CLEARLY a vampire, he is out in broad daylight and does not seem affected.
With him are a couple of females. One bears a distant resemblance to Darkblade, another to Rose, yet another to Ghost, and the final one is an elf with golden skin.
Stargazer is behind them, and she is ... dancing. You notice something that looks like a crown on her head. She is clearly not in control of her own body. The guy looks at the group and smiles a rather toothy smile.
"I see you brought friends...interesting. Well, I have to give you a chance to surrender and work for the Council. I am hoping you say no however, it's been awhile since I've had a good meal."
All the girls are looking at your group like a starving man would look at an all you can eat buffet.
"Rose dear...is that you? My my, how you have grown. What are you doing with these loosers?" the person who resembles Rose quips, licking her lips.
"Violet? Gods, who let you out? And the rest, what has happened to you all? Last I checked the people of the castle were good guys. Well despite the various..vices they possess."
The gold elf semi-whispers. "That was before the Council of the Nine, and the Dark Queen. We work for them now, and the freedom is just too delicious."
Meanwhile...
Everything is going smoothly at the camp, and it is sort of quiet. Purrrfect slinks over to Malice and gently wakes her, moments later everybody knows why. A large dark silver castle is floating above them, but it only seems to be observing...for now.

Mindreaver listens a bit but does not like the idea of lingering there idle. There is this eerie feeling that something is out of place, that something is not what it seems. And worse yet he knows very little of the situation.
"Rose, who are those and what are they talking about? And what's with the cosplay, had I known I would come with a decent costume and some drinks."

Rose looks at the group carefully. "My family, if you can call them that. It is a rather long story."
The young man grins and you notice that some dark clouds are gathering, you can't help but think that he is the cause. "Allow me. My father stumbled on a intelligent castle called Castle Le Femme. At the time, it had a ... grudge against men. He was rather furtunate that it didn't kill him. To make a long story shorter, he won the castle over. Now the castle loved to go through time and rescue people from bad situations, then .... collect them. Jorn, my father, took up the cause. Soon there was a rather large number of women in the castle."
The gold elf interviened. "In time, they come to see Jorn as a hero, and quite a few fell in love with him. This became a problem, as he was only one man. An ... arrangement was made. We won't go into the particulars of that. Anyhow, it became something like an extended family. Soon children were had, and the castle loosened it's restrictions on males. Still a disproportionate ammount of children were born female."
Now Violet spoke. "Something corrupted the castle when it landed here...and what effects the castle effects those who live in it. Now we serve the Council. They will be very interested in you. Very, very interested. Especially our little Rose here."
Bear growls "Over my dead body!" He seems more like himself now.
"Oh that can be arranged my dear brother." replies the one who resembles Darkblade. She is wearing an all silk outfit.
"You are not my sister." growled Bear.
"Tsk, tsk. I think we should at least have the manners to introduce ourselves. I am Jorn Saber the second. Not quite as powerful as my father in his full armor, but then again I am getting stronger every day." by now the clouds are fully formed and the wind is picking up. Of course, you have no doubt that Rose could end the storm without twitching if she needed.
"My dear sister already let you know my name. Over there is Silk." she points to the Darkblade look alike. "Goldy." To the gold elf. "Last but not least, Whisper. She is usually quite, but trust me, you really would prefer it that way." Violet grins evilly.

Problem Child looks at his friends and asks with a short sigh:
"Can't anything be at least remotely normal with you guys? Just when I thought we got away from evil mutants and crazy aliens and that everything can only get better from now on, this happens..."
He looks back at the leader of this weird group:
"Look, I know your father. The two of us and Mindreaver here once shared weed in front of military base. I'm sure we can work this all out without violence of any sort."

Nearly falling asleep, himself, from the comfort, Liarron barely notice the floating castle. The blurred sight of the thing through his barely open eyes is enough to make him want to see just what is disturbing his rest.
“Something just HAD to come along and ruin my relaxation by becoming some [censored] potential problem.”
With a quick roll backwards, he gets to his feet.
“Well, I suppose we should see if this thing, or those on it, are going to be as annoying as I suspect they’re going to be...”

Rose frowns. "In my family there is no such thing as normal. I am afraid you joined the wrong group if you ever want any sembelence of normal." turning to the others. "Listen, me and Bear didn't want anything else to do with that blasted castle. So why don't you go away, before things get ugly."
Jorn, the vampire looking like guy "I am afraid it is far too late for that. Of course, you could always just surrender." He turns to Stargazer, and his voice alters a bit. "We are challenging these beings to a fight, whoever wins gets you. You will obey the leader of the winning group completely and without hesitation." he turns back to your group.
"The game is afoot. Surrender, death, or victory. Those are your only options."
He instantly morphs into a large black wolf and springs for Bear. At the same time, the Gold Elf calls up a black ball of energy and lets it fly toward Rose. Silk brings out what looks like a swath of silk and starts swinging it, headed toward Problem Child. Whisper floats slowly toward Mindreaver. Violet seems to be doing... something, but it is hard to tell what.
As Rose prepairs to defend herself she warns. "Don't let Goldy touch you, her touch can turn people into gold statues. Also watch out for that silk, it is much more dangerous then it looks!"
Meanwhile
By now the whole camp is in readiness. You see eight figures on the walls, but they just seem to be looking down. The castle lowers a drawlbridge and a figure emerges from it. Dressed head to toe in black full plate, it bears a shield with an odd emblem on it. It is a sparrow carring bloody arrows. In his other hand is a pitch black sword.
One of the figures on the wall calls down. "Do try not to break the toys Malfallus. Broken toys are less fun to play with."
The large figure bellows. "You will all come with me. By edict of the Council of Nine, you are all to be detained. Resistance will be met with force." He seems awful confident despite the fact that he is vastly outnumbered. It is also odd that the other eight of his compainons seem just as confident and are not even bothering to aid him.

As the group led by the vampire advances Problem Child lets out a sigh.
"What is wrong with you people? Doesn't anyone believe in negotiation anymore? By the way, Rose, when this is over I'll probably need a whole bush of those Cannibus plants, just to let you know."
Problem Child watches Silk as she moves towards him with a swath of silk.
"...Also watch out for that silk, it is much more dangerous then it looks!"
"Ummm, could you be a little more specific?" He looks at Silk again "Look, babe, I don't want to hurt you or anyone of your friends here, are you sure we can't work it out? No? Oh well..."
Problem Child reaches for his pocket forgetting for a moment his mic is no longer with him. As he remembers what happened, he decides to start off easy, just in case. So he begins to sing:
I'm the invisible man,
I'm the invisible man,
Incredible how you can,
See right through me.
And with those words the music master disappears, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Varjo assumes the lead and steps forward.
"We do not recognise your ruler's regime.
Come and get us!"
Varjo takes position between the black night and the group and starts issuing orders.
"Shyft! Take Fate out of here!"
Shyft teleports next to Fate and the two vanish.
"Saber you better start chanting!
Brick House protect him!"
She moves in front of Saber.
"Darkblade I want you here! The Rest of you better stay back!"
No reason for them to get slaughtered. Only Brick House and Saber from the group have chances of hurting the knight if he knows how to handle a sword and judging from his posture he does.
As Darkblade takes position beside him Varjo notices that Jorn Saber isn't doing anything. Why isn't he chanting already?

Stay back? Maybe he will. Maybe he won't. Liarron is hardly paying any attention to Varjo anyway. Liarron just watches as the armored man approaches the camp area, and then makes his demands. These demands, Liarron doesn't care about either.
Without a further thought of this man's demands, Liarron finally notices Varjo's orders being acted upon. Liarron starts selecting which wooden shard he likes best.

Mindreaver always found girls floating slowly to his direction creepy. But even worse are the types who are preparing an unknown attack so first thing he does is call upon the rocks of the immediate environment to rise and shoot at her. For an adrenaline moment everything feels clearer than before, almost as if time has slowed down. Assuming Violet's concentration is broken he will try to encase Whisper in a mental cage and if she does not offer too much resistance he will use her to hit the nearest danger.

Malice cast a vile gaze at the self-assured figure while getting up from her not-so-comfortable sit. She scanned him from head to toe, her eyes full of scorn prompted by the unknown figure’s attitude but yet, she was puzzled. The figure’s form looked odd, not that she had been used to and therefore gave her a little twist in the brain but shortly disregarded it after keeping in mind the fact that they had been shifted into some time-space warp craze.
The sudden appearance of the silver floating castle gave her an intrusive feeling and the unwelcoming invitation had brought her fear. Still, she fought these feelings over. Cowardice is not her style. She boldly walked towards the man and darted her emerald eyes on his.
“I don’t easily go with odd looking people like you,” Malice smirked as she threw another vile gaze on the odd looking man.

Jorn looks around as if the whole world has gone mad. "Well this will end bad." he does his little ditty and transforms. You notice, however, that he doesn't seem to be at full power.
The man in the full plate just ignores him and looks at Malice with a bit of contempt. He turns his blade, and with amazing speed smacks her with the flat of the blade. She goes flying about 20 feet, though it appeared though he put little effort into the swing, and crashes into the tree. He seems to be a bit suprised at something, but just turns to face Liarron. He motions for Liarron to come attack him.
Before Liarron can something slams into him, sending him flying about 100 times farther then he sent Malice flying. "Hey little man...I'm a Brick ... House. I'm mighty, mighty letting it all hang out" comes the mocking tone. You notice a hole in the guys armor, and you think he maybe dead. That is until he stands up.
Now what is strange is, the bit of flight and crashing into the tree should have killed Malice. Instead, she feels stronger and better then before. Which is ... odd.
Jorn Saber shoots lightning into him, and the guy goes down again. "Don't let that fool you, he'll be back up in a second. Guys, I suggest an immediate retreat. We can not win this fight. Trust me." As if to prove his point the guy in the armor stands back up slowly once again.
Meanwhile
Violet doesn't even try to avoid the attack, and it does indeed break her concentration. Whatever attack she was doing is interrupted. Rose quickly subdues her and her own attacker with vines. Bears attacker goes down easily. In fact this whole fight seems almost too easy. Something is not quite right...
