In the chamber of time Suprisingly the hourglass responds to your mental commands, as it does so your innate sense of time/space starts giving off a warning. You are bending time and space by manipulating this device. However, in that instance you are given some insight. You see an image of your cane in your mind.
Learning Magic- The woman begins your instructions. Many times you feel as if your brain will explode with the knowledge given you, but though you are taken to the edge you never break. The training is intense, and becomes harder every day.
Battle ground- As Malice gleefully kills endless hordes, the image of Entropy speaks. "You long for power and glory, yet you obey me. You must know that in the end I will betray you and take the glory for my own. Why do you obey when you should command?"

Problem Child looks around at the strange place he's in. Then he laughs and shouts to the emptiness:
"If this place is supposed to scare or confuse me, you're doing a lousy job! I've had worse trips in my teen days!"
Then he looks at his shadowy image, studying it from head to toe. Since the image haven't moved yet, he decides to be the first to act, he moves a little closer and says:
"Wow, we have a lot in common, don't we? I'm sure we have so much things to talk about... you don't happen to have any weed do you?"

After that little speech Problem Child finally realizes who is he facing.
"Paranoid, nice to finally meet you. By the way, why did I have to meet you? Why not Highway Star? He's much nicer than you..."
Problem Child doesn't finish the sentence as a powerful heat wave consumes him from within. He looks at his alternate ego with a puzzled look.
"You don't really think I'm afraid of a little fire, do you?
You thought it was gone
But the fire goes on
And i thought you knew me
I told you before
'til i settle the score
That i'll never run free
I have enough pain and anger in my brain
To last many lifetimes
Yet still it grows, and the more that it shows
I won't have peace of mind

The fire in Problem Child's body bursts out and is now visible to all. But even though he clearly is in pain, he doesn't seem to care as if he's used to it. Instead of screaming or showing any sign of weakness he continues to sing:
"I have a dream
And as strange as it seems

The fire's gone out and there's no need to shout
'cause no anger's showing
But it's not true, nothing i ever do
Seems to ease my fury

With that the fire on him subsides, but at the same moment it lights up on his evil side ten times more powerful as before.

The fire snuffs out the other shades, but seems to do little to actually harm the shadow. Suprisingly Problem Child starts to feel weakened as the fire assults the shadow. He realizes it is part of him, and if he destroys it, he destroys himself with it. Which causes a heck of a problem.
The shadow of himself just cracks an evil grin. "Can't beat me that way tree hugger. Now, lets kick it up a notch."

Unfortunately for him, it is only somewhat effective. Problem Child is not pure good (nobody is), so instead of killing him, it just causes him great pain.

Problem Child shakes his head in pain and annoyance.
"It's just like you to twist everythin, there is a far better song with similiar lyrics you could've used..."
But this time Problem Child doesn't sing in retaliation right away. That weakness that he felt got him thinking, direct attacks obviously won't do anything good. Besides, it's not his style anyway, direct hits were always the mastery of Paranoid - his evil side, Problem Child himself tried to find more elaborate and refined ways to deal with his opponents. Suddenly, something he said before strikes his mind.
"It's time to call in some reinforcement:
I have heard the echoes in the dark
Dim and distant voices of the past
And I've seen so far into the night
And lingered in the land of no light.
Far beyond the shrouded hours of dawn
Through the mist of daybreak I was born
But the day was clouded still by night

As he finishes the song another image of his appears. This image stands besides Problem Child as the latter says:
"Welcome, Highway Star, I thought it wouldn't be fair to hold this personality meeting without you." Then he turns his eyes from his good side to his evil one, "Looks like you're outnumberes, Paranoid."

The music echoes throughout time and space, giving all of Problem Childs allies the choice to go immediately to his side. For those unable to make a choice (for some reason) it automatically takes them to his side.
((Immediately all but the PC's characters get teleported in. To give the others time to post and catch up, will put this on hold till friday. No reply by then means automatic trip to Problem Childs side  )).

Hmm.. The second answer is more or less what I expected but it makes me wonder. Am I here to learn something or to face my darkest fears so I can proceed? Time to scribble down a few more notes.
-So what would Stargazer have seen without the crown?
-And more importantly, what do you think is the most terrifying thing for me?

Stargazer would have seen how to defeat the creature easily. ((Then cryptically it adds)) and with your help she still can.
Your greatest threat is that you think first, then act. In the coming trial, you must act first, then think.

With the, Mindreaver feels the pull from his summoning. Since the summoning is unable to pull Stargazer to him, it pulls him to her, freeing him from his test. Seems he found the way out after all. Stargazer still stares blankly at nothing, unaware of what has transpired.
More tentacles of the shadow creature break off, forming duplicates of all the people presant. Some of them also create more shadow creatures, but they are of little concern or danger.

Mindreaver takes a short glance around.
"Great, she still hasn't snapped out of it and we have to face these shadow.. things.
One thing is stuck in his mind: Stargazer would have seen how to defeat the creature easily. And with your help she still can. The helmet is the key but it's probably warded to be removed by traditional means.
"Stargazer, I command you to remove your helmet."

Stargazer complies and looks around blinking. Confused and dazed she finally starts to see what is around her. Something in her stirs, and with a powerful voice she sends out a command to each person.
To Malice. "Malice, your lust for power and glory will trap you in your test forever. You can not win the challenge, you must stop fighting. Even killing Entropy is a wrong choice."
To Varjo. "Your foe seeks to kill you out of honor, for he has been commanded to do so. Only honor can defeat him."
To Liarron. "There is a way you can learn more from her, but it would require trust. Open your mind to her, let her into your thoughts. You may trust her, even with your very life."
To the ones facing the shadows. "Each of you, your shadows share your own weaknesses. Use them against them. Mindreaver, your double will think to much. Act, don't think, and it will not be able to defeat you. Problem Child, in silence your double is powerless."
To the Old Man. "Stop the blasted rings with your cane. It will hold. Touch the hourglass and you will be through."
To all. "Hear me. Once this creature is defeated, we must concentrate on going forward in time. Not to the time we left however. We must go only exactly 5 minutes before we left, and we will know what we know now. The good news is our help was only 6 minutes away. Trust me, believe in me, and we shall prevail."

Mindreaver locks on his shadowy clone and starts flinging all sorts of mental intrusions and mindshocks. The fake would probably try to protect the whole group or negatively influence the majority of the opposing forces.

Problem Child was really surprised by the amount of people his song seemed to bring, but before he had time to figure it out he saw a vision of Stargazer and heard her saying something about silence.
"It's worth a try." Problem Child looked at his good self, "You know I've never had the opportunity to sing duet. What do you say?"
"Right on, dude. Let's do it."
And so two voices filled the space joining in the most beautiful duet of all times:
"Hello darkness, my old friend, I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping, left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain, still remains
Within the sound of silence"

With Stargazers suggestion both Mindreaver and Problem Child easily defeat their shadow doubles. Now only the main creature is left to be faced. It is doubtful it will be quite that easy to defeat. It is comprised of fear from both mortals and immortals. It has fed on the fear from many worlds.
Following Mindreavers and Problem Childs' example the rest of the group with them easily defeat their shadow doubles. Stargazer turns to Mindreaver. "We need the amulet, for only something without fear can defeat this being. Who has it? They must call forth the Paladin, for it knows no fear."
