Stargazer points to the creature. "We actually need the amulet, but I forget who has it. Of course, regardless you can bring it here. It may choose not to accept our commands however. It does have a mind of it's own. Though it does not know fear. Maybe if you, Mindreaver, and Problem Child all put your mind to it, it will obey the orders."

Varjo is still fighting he's opponent. The fight fluctuates back and forth, when the two exchange blows with a speed that most people couldn't follow, almost like the fight has been orchestrated. Actually it has been since both fighters have gone through the best alternative combos for each possible case in their mind several moves in advance.
Neither of them seem to have gained the upper hand despite of a few clearly visible cracks in the walls, which have been caused by a body crashing against the wall in high speed. It is starting to become clear that the decisive hit that would be needed to solve the superiority of these two rivals isn't going to be coming any time soon.
Varjo evades a kick aimed at his left knee by sending a straight upwards kick at his opponents jaw. There is something banging at the back of his head but without further toughts Varjo blockes it out. His opponent spins out of the kicks way and continues the motion with a roundhouse kick at waist height. Varjo does a spinning jumpkick aimed at his rivals head continued with an upwards backside kick of his other leg. Just as his enemy dodges his kicks Stargazers voice explodes through the barrier he set up just seconds earlier with a fierce power:
"Your foe seeks to kill you out of honor, for he has been commanded to do so! Only honor can defeat him!", this is enough to disturb Varjo's concentration so that he doesn't have the time to predict his opponents next move and he ends up hastily blocking his rivals punch and sending in one of his own. This proves to be disastreous as it leaves him open for a quick jab at his throat. Just at the moment his enemy's three fingers make the deadly contact and Varjo braces himself for his fate he finds himself at the party's campsite, where Pipsquek teleported them to the well.
"It looks like the well isn't ready to kill anyone.", he thinks to himself.
"But if the well isn't evil then why did it arrange these trials to stop us from confronting the evil in it?", while pondering the question Varjo notices the sword and shield that were left behind when the black knight retreated.
"Might as well take those with me. They might come in handy next time.", when he walks to pick up the weapons the answer comes clear:
"The well must have tested us if we were strong enough to confront the creature to keep those that aren't safe from harm. It seems I was not strong enough."
"Hmm..."
"Interesting...I wonder what the others confronted", he wonders while picking up the sword and the shield.

A voice speaks clearly into Varjos head. "Not everybody can win them all. However, the well did send you here for a reason." The voice is clear and untainted. It seems upset about something, but is deffinately excited to be in somebody's possession. "Collectively those facing the creature are more then it's match, so it sent you to retreive me and my companion, the shield. We are artifacts of great power after all." Despite its statement there is no smugness or ego attached to the statement.

"I'm pretty sure it was Ghost, take a look and give it to me quickly!"
Ghost casually throws the amulet to Mindreaver that hastily surveys its surface for any inscriptions that could help him. Rats, just abstract symbols most probably ornamental. He calls to Problem Child for any kind of help he can provide and then focuses his will to convey a message to the entity of the Paladin.
We need your aid to defeat a creature of the darkest shadow, the guardian to the source of corruption that taints this land, please hear our plea and lend us your strength.
The illusionist braces for what is to come.

Liarron glances over to the Silky double.(though, he still doesn’t know it) He thinks to myself.
'Well, I can trust her well enough, but my very life? I am not so sure about that. Perhaps when the time comes, we will see. But it is not here yet, so it should be fine for now. Why have I thought of these thoughts anyway? It doesn't make much sense. Sense or not, I probably thought of it for a reason. I guess I should go talk with her about them; at least the opening up my mind part.’
Liarron stands and walks over to her.
“I had this random thought. Most likely some strange affect of this area. Anyway, it said I should open my mind to you. Let you in my thoughts. I can’t think of anything that would really need hiding, so I suppose I could allow you to enter, if you should want to.”

Mindreaver recieves a response from..something. Though paladin in shape, it is not a force of good. Nor a force of evil. It is a force of Law. Ancient, older then perhaps time itself, and powerful beyond measure. It's only limits are normally that which it's weilder can imagine it has. This place being a place of power, however, amplifies that many fold. ((Not to mention Mindreaver being a mentalist can imagine tremendous power)).
He knows for certain that even if the ones assembled would bend their will to try to force the entity, it would be to no avail. This is a power.
Normallycame a voice that just doesn't seem to fit. It is high pitched and shrill I would just retrieve my vessal and leave. Such power as I give can not be taken by force or deceit. However, I sense a servent of chaos.
Like before the sounds of powerful hooves, like thunder, can be heard in the distance. The Paladin appears on it's mighty steed, and charges the force of evil and chaos.
Meanwhile...
Liarron's teacher does as asked, and feeds his mind directly the information needed. It will take some time to all come together, but when it does he will even be able to teach others. He also will be able to, if he takes the great ammount of time needed, forge his own spells. Just as she completes her task....
The Paladin strikes the creature dead on with it's lance. There is a tremendous bellow, and the creature starts to die. As it does Stargazer prepairs everybody to concentrate on the time needed for them to reappear at. The power that tainted this land is broken, but they have their own battle to return to. One world is saved, now to save their own.
All that was taken into the alternate time line is back where they started moments before 'man' fired his weapon. Everything is returned back to them. (Weapons, gundams, etc). One flag ship and several fighters are still missing however for some unknown reason. Though the sword and shield remain, the amulet is gone as if it never was.

Back in the sanctuary of his warship, Man hands Baskerville a dog treat. "Take the helm, boy. I'm going to go get some fresh air." Man smiles as Baskerville hops into the command chair and sits down. Dozens of silver tendrils wind their way into the glowing control consoles.
"I wonder why Paladin interfered?" Man grumbles to himself while tapping his cane to the ground.
"Woof!" the happy dog alerts Man of his successful connection.
"Excellant. Fire at will!" Man draws his hand in the air, outlining a wispy door. A tug on the door reveals the unfolding destruction of the cosmic struggle. Man quickly steps through, finding himself in the dead of space.
The cacophony of the warship's cannons is deafening. Hundreds of particle beams and torpedos scream towards the alien fleet. The batteries to the left illuminate the enigma's face as five, lime beams punish three enemy fighters' pathetic attempt to swarm the ship.
"Looks like it's ti-" A rippling senesation runs through Man's left arm, causing the limb to shift violently, almost as if it were phasing out of reality.
"Lovely" is all he says as he fires tiny beams of devastation from the tip of his cane.

The Paladin struck the dark creature and ... everything disappeared. Highway Star found himself back in the starship, holding the barrier, his trusty microphone back in his hand. Although, after everything that happened to him in the magic world he wasn't so sure he needs it anymore. But what was this magic world? Was it real? Was it a dream? Was it just another hallucination caused by the joint he smoked just before setting up this forcefield?..
A series of explosion interrupted his train of thought, he was still responsible for protecting the ship. If he remembered correctly reinforcement should arrive in about 5 minutes, but he felt so exhausted already he wasn't sure he'd make it. The thoughts of the magic world slowly crawled to his mind again. Real or not, but this world made him feel stronger, more confident in himself. He decided it was worth a shot to believe in himself again. Concentrating hard on the forcefield he released all his remaining energy into it to ensure it would last some time after he loses his focus and, hoping it would last long enough, he collapsed into unconciousness...

What seems like an eternity passes. Those aboard the ship fight off the creatures beemed inside, those outside it by various means destroy ship after ship. The enemy seems endless and tireless, not caring how many of theirs parish. Luckily it will take a lot of time for the full brunt of the armada to be brought to bear on the little group.
Highway Star's shield is failing, and a flag ship has taken aim at the cargo vessal. A voice over the con warns. "Unauthorized access at the teleportation station, repeat unauthorized access at the teleport platform." As the missles fly straight toward the now defenseless ship, a lone figure in a space suit materializes in front of them.
It seems impossible that such a tiny speck could stop the barrage of missiles. The figure activates something on the suit, and the sensors pick up a huge spike of magnetism. All the missiles veer toward the suit, nothing could survive. When the dust settles, whatever interecepted the missiles has been turned to space dust. The flag ship takes aim again, but never gets a chance to fire. The calvary has arrived, and with a vengence.
The beast man armada tears into the ships attacking you, and tears through them. Now you know why the human aliens needed such a large armada, one on one they are no match. More allied ships attach to the cargo and stealth ship, and begin to tow it to earth.
Now, however, comes the problem. Earth has no space fleet, and the beasts are outnumbered heavily. A space battle would end in a tremendous defeat, yet the humanoid aliens would be foolish to fight a ground battle. A strategy is needed, badly.

Varjo finds himself back in the space fighter. The first thing he does is checking if his knifes are where they are supposed to be. A quick expression of relief crosses his face but it quickly makes way for a steel hard determination as he takes his fighter back to the fray with reneved enthusiasm. Alien fighters start taking heavy losses due to his skilled flying backed up by his reneved fighting spirit. Soon three of the more skilled pilots, who have evaded Varjo's lasers so far, target him and form a wing to take him out. One of them approaches his fighter from below while two of them approach him from behind in 45 degree angle.
"Well, well. This might prove interesting.", Varjo thinks to himself while turning his fighter right to blast another one of the alien ships. The alien trio follows closely like waiting for him to make the first move.
"Well let's give 'em what they want.", he thinks and pulls his fighter 90 degrees up. Just as he comes in the sights of the two alien ships trailing him he spins right and the laser trail off to the wastness of space. He completes his spin to a full circle and blast one of the trio to pieces.
Something at the back of his head tells him that this was too easy. He veers of to the left just in time as the third fighter, now straight below him, fires his lasers that miss Varjo's fighter by inches only. The second surviving fighter follows with a loop that ends him trailing Varjo again while the other one starts to turn after him too.
"That was too damn close. I might not be so lucky next time.", he starts a standard battle turn but when he confronts a new barrage of missiles coming from old man's ship he start evading them. One of the trailing alien fighters get's blown up when the pilot makes a mistake in the deadly swarm. After Varjo get's through them he turns his fighter backways in full speed and in the moment his rival comes through the barrage of missiles he is met by twin beams that send him to his afterlife.
"I wonder, why am I so good?", Varjo says to the comm with a smirk on his face and heads back to the stealth vessel as the newly arrived reinforcements take care of the rest.
"This might be a good time to acquire more data on the sword.", he starts a converstion with it while heading back.

Jorn has a lot to do for the injured on the way back to earth. Being one of the few healers, he is kept quite occupied. With the beast man armada leading the way, the ships are not bothered as they reach Earth.
As the ship docks, there seems to be a bit of a commotion. Several unconscious MEGA agents, and Beast men are littered around the area. Hundreds more are surrounding a lone figure, who dispite everything seems rather calm and not even out of breath.
It is hard to tell if the figure is male or female, for it is wearing a Kamono and a large wicker hat. It's arms are crossed but not in an agressive manner, but one of patience. A small boy huddles behind the figure, eyes wide in fright.
The figure speaks, and it is deffinately a female voice. "I did not come here looking for trouble. I seek the one they call Varjo, and I will not leave until I have seen him. Any more of your men try to lay their hands on me, and more will end up unconscious."
Jorn recognizes the voice immediately as Kiki Toshioto's voice. He also knows that this is a very lopsided fight. None of the people here are a threat to Kiki. Something is...different about her though.
"Besides. I am not the one you need concern yourself with. Those that watch from the shadows should be of more concern to you."
As if they know they have been discovered 4 people step out of the shadows. Three everybody has seen before, including one that looks like Kiki only wearing thick black platemail. The 4th is new, however, and looks like the young boy. Only this one is all skin and bones, like he hasn't eaten in a long time.
"We are not ready yet...soon. Soon our master will come. Spread the word. Your planet's time is running out."
With that the 4 dissapear.

A pocket in space opens 15 feet in front of Kiki and Man walks out, accompanied by his every loyal mutt. He adopts a passive stance, sensing that aggression would certainly make matters difficult.
"Mistress Kiki, to what do we owe the honor?" he asks holding he rests his hands on the cane standing in front of him.

Kiki smiles at jorn, then the old man, and removes the hat. Both can tell immedately two things. Her powers of a goddess are gone, and she is blind. Her eyes are pale white, not that it seems that it hindered her ability to protect herself or the child. "Indeed it has been awhile Jorn."
"Old man, it is well you are here also. For these people may well need you before it is over. As to why I am here, to offer a trade. The sword Varjo holds, for my services as a teacher to him. This boy is meant to hold the sword. One day, he will be a great warrior. Before he is old enough to learn what I can teach, however, I will be gone. So I will charge Varjo with passing that on."
She starts to explain when she is interrupted. There is a smell of sulpher, and a sense of something evil, and then a man appears. He is dressed in a 3 piece pinstripe suit. His hair is in a ponytail, and is slicked back. In his hands is a cane, with a crystal wolfs head on top. He is in his twenties, with a full mustache and a goatie. Evil premiates from him.
"Don't tell me you gave up your immoratality, just so you could interfear in my plans dear girl. You were so much more of a challenge and pest as a power." He first addresses Kiki, then ignores her as if she isn't there.
Next he turns to 'Man'. "Ah another 'power'. Don't tell me you too will give up your immortality to interfear in the affairs of man? Or, are you just an observer hmm? No matter, time and space has no power over such as I."
Facing Jorn he snarls. "You, however, are another matter. Too often you have interfeared in my plans. I should destroy you right now!" he looks for a second like he is going to, and his face looses his illusion, revealing a demonic face. Finally he manages to compose himself and the illusion is restored. Straightning his tie, he walks past Jorn as if Jorn is of no concern. "No, everything is not ready yet. Close, but not yet. If I act now..HE will interfear, and we can't have that." Turning back around to the group. "Unless, anybody here wants to be foolish enough to attack me? I am allowed to use my powers to defend myself..."
As he waits to see if anybody is going to do so, he finally notices Varjo. Rather, what Varjo has in his hands. For a little fear can be seen in his eyes, but only for a second. "YOU?! You can not use that to it's fullest...give it to me and whatever you ask, within reason, shall be yours!"

Man extends his cane, blocking Varjo from the malevolent figure. "Do not listen to him, boy. It'd be foolish to listen to one known as the Prince of Lies."
Baskerville growls loudly at the enemy, bravely disusing the utter terror running through canine being. Man stares intently as the fiend. "I wouldn't make sure foolish threats. I do not fear you. I may not be able to stop you, but you are incapable of truly destroy- URGH!" Man's cane falls to the ground as his left arm violently shifts in and out of reality. The overhwelming pain causes him to fall to his knees.
