I don't quite understand this! Could you be a bit more specific on how this structure works, and what the problem you were concerned of was about?

EDIT > Oh, perhaps I get it, you mean that if you unlearn a skill in a hut, the skill-point is not wasted, but can be taken into another skill?

Garuna's speciality (Blood Drinker) is a way overpowered from the description - anyone tried her yet - is it per troop or per stack?

Yep, tried her - per stack.

It looks like the best Orc hero is Gorshak. Slayer certanly is the most useful orc unit.

What I meant was the following:

Suppose we have Hero_01, with his specialty and Basic Attack (could be any, really). From a Witch Hut, this Hero learns Basic Logistics. Now the Hero visits a Memory Mentor, unlearns Basic Logistics and learns Advanced Attack in return. If Nival hadn't thought this through, then the Hero would now be able to go back to the Witch Hut and *relearn* Basic Logistics.

And then unlearn it again, for another skill, etc ... until the Hero has maximized all skills and perks except one skill (the slot where the Hero learns Basic Logistics).

Attack and Logistics are of course just examples. But anyway, Nival has seen this apparently, as this doesn't work. When the Hero revisits the Witch Hut, he cannot learn Basic Logistics from it anymore (it says he already learned it), even though he doesn't have it anymore.

Actually, they didn't. Goblins move and attack, then get retaliated. Because they take melee damage, they make a run for it.

I realise it mimics strike-and-return, but there are differences (mainly when the Goblins don't get retaliated upon).

Or when they are attacked anyway. Has anyone checked the files for magic spell formulas? We know there will be new spells but will the existing ones face any changes?

ive restarted inferno map and gotten the mage guild to level 5. but no new spells i could see(firewall moved to destructive though)
Sorrow is working in the orc one at least. -1 to morale and luck
Btw if your Really really really pissed you can just avoid putting memory mentors in the maps you use. really they might not be in multiplayer maps at all.

notice about the untamed cyclops:
Give it space for its attack...mine was attacked by a renegade angel, and my centaur nomads ended up in the crossfire....130 centaurs wasted, by 7 untaimed cyclops....
i also lost around 20 Earth daughers & 100 goblin trappers when a renegade griffin attacked it ><'

Wow, very cool.

It figures the Orcs are great on Strength and bad on Magic.

The new skills are cool, like able to deflect a certain amount of magic damage.

Though, I'm wondering if the Luck/Morale stats will be limited because I find it insane to have multiple turns...each turn...

Firewall is now a destruction spell. Other than that, all changes are indirect, like perks being more videly available and that the Orc heroes get a counterpart skill to weaken enemy magic of that type.

On a side note, anyone else thinking that Summon Hive will be about used as much as Wasp Swarm, aka like never? Come on, it even uses the casters mana for casting... and has 100 health at most.

anyone noticed that orc skill orcs luck? 5% chance to resist spell per point of luck. wonder if having 15 luck there means 75% resistance(not that its possible to get that much i think)

Did you know wasp swarm reduces initiative?  Try using it at higher mastery levels you may be pleasantly surprised.

The artifact sets don't look so overpowered but as doomforge points out easy access to ultimates might hurt.

For those interested in spell changes the aoh toe spell page info has it all.

Curse of the Netherworld for example was boosted in power and vampirism is a third level 5 spell.  Firewall is 3rd level destructive spell now.

it is possible, i dont know abaut 15 luck but it is possible all what you need is expert luck, lions set (gives luck addition too) or just   Lion Crown, magic resistinse and an artifact thet gives luck and if thets not enaff you can use the sacrifice goblin abilitie of the earth/sky Daughter wich will give her +5 to all stats (depending on the goblins number in the stack).
